CardWarfare 4
I saw this tonight, and while I honestly and wholly tried to like it, I just couldn't. It's far too drawn out, and definately too long. Also, it seemed to me as if the main idea of the movie, is not to tell a story, but soley to confuse the audience. The awkward time skips, the misleading character developments, adding seemingly important twists that turn out to be meaningless, it just seemed excessively awkward and really made the movie tough to stay with. The acting was good, but that's pretty much to be expected from the cast gathered. I don't know. Maybe I missed somethings. Actually, I'm sure I missed a few things, but I don't know if not missing them would've changed my opinion all that drastically. That being said, the one pleasant surprise on all fronts was John Turturo. I didn't know he was in it going in, and really enjoyed his character, as well as the way he portrayed it. Other than that, and fantasizing about Angelina Jolie, this movie was pretty much a waste of a perfectly good gift certificate and three hours.
SuperJon 175
I heard it was good and plan to see it. But if someone else on here says it wasn't good, then I'll just wait for it come out on DVD.
Jadaki 0
Wait for DVD.Everything about the movie is well done, but all the good parts didn't add up to a good movie. It's seriously about 45 minutes to long and even then after all the build up there is no payoff. Matt Damon's character started to remind me of Dexter.

Too long, slightly awkward, and confusing, and no pay off.I went to a 10:45 pm show not knowing how long it was, and was dead tired at the end.
CrackofmyACE 1
More confusing than SYRIANA?If so, I want nothing to do with it. Just like in your description of The Good Shepherd, I felt like the sole intention of Syriana was to make the audience feel dumb for not being able to understand what the hell was going on. I don't like not "getting" things. As a matter of fact I cried afterwards. I'm fragile.

Had to see it twice to catch everything, but I think that had more to do with the fondling going on between girl and myself.

SweetDaddyFreak 0
I saw it a few weeks ago and it didn't make much sense. I was waiting the whole time for the movie to end. I love the actors in the movie and heard it was good, but its not what you expect. Its not so much aout the CIA, as it is about the life of the guy who started the CIA. There were many questions and plot twists that were left unanswered or went no where and the best part of the movie is when the black girl gets thrown out of a planeSeriously, don't even rent it unless you have insomnia. It isn't bearable.
Balloon guy 158
I saw this with my brother-in-law, and intelligence officer and his son. The movie is roughly the story of the birth of CIA and the relationship between a father and son. They both hated it.Matt Damon ages 30 years in the movie and never looks any different. The movie sucked.

I was bored to tears and waiting for it to end. It was SLOOOOOW and LOOOONG and if you didn't totally pay attention for a bit you got lost.. I would not watch it again. fleung22 1
I haven't watched it myself but from what I understand too much emphasis was on what happens and not enough character building is done. Therefore you see all these complex scenes without really caring for each character.

SuperJon 175
It was okay. If I'm thinking of the right girl, I remember I only went out with her because she had comically large breasts. Things weighed at least 10 pounds each.
