Hey Daniel, how come you're not playing either of the PLO8 events? It's a fun game and I'm sure it has a lot of value to it.

To an outsider it seems like Daniel sees this as more of a moral issue rather than a legal issue. He has repeadetly pointed out that sueing the people who made them rich and famous is - not only immoral - but also bad for the players involved and poker in general. This may be true. However he has only vaguely referred to some discussions with his lawyers when it comes to the actual legal issue. I don't know how thorough his investigations have been, but if WPT BROKE THE LAW, then it just isn't acceptable nevermind what they have accomplished. Imho. But it may well be that this isn't a simple tr

Harman is weak-tight compared to Duke. I'm not saying that Harman is a bad player, she's a great LHE player. But Duke is a better NLHE tournament player, imho.

It was more of a semibluff. He had 12 outs. -

I think the peoples reaction is more fun and interesting than the original post. Are all the FCP players really this uptight or do they consider the forum so sacred that anyone posting anything even remotely fun should be banned? Or can't they just handle the fact that they fell for this little prank? -

Ok, that is your opinion. Most experts in the world disagree, but that is your own opinion. You can be very proud of it, don't let anyone ever take it away from you. -

ah, ****ing hell. well, at least he went out as a favorite.edit: got me there. well, at least daniel is in :icon_clap:btw, the opponent should've had KhKs instead of Khkc. That way Daniel would've had the one out before the river. Would've been more dramatic -
Just wanted to point that him raising 5 hands in a row like you mentioned isn't a sign of steaming. Was he frustrated? Maybe. Steaming? Only he himself knows.Swings happen, though. Sometimes you just can't help it.

sigh.. He definitely hasn't lost his concentration, he's not steaming. Raising (almost) every pot has been the winning strategy so far. He said it himself - the post flop play of an average player in that tournament is so horrible that he rarely should fold pre-flop. And for not folding, why not raise?

I consider top two overcards and a nut flush draw more than a semibluff. Odds were 50-50, and I don't think the opponent would've called with a mere overpair if it wasn't for the queen of clubs. I think it was definitely the right move to do (mathematically and in every other way too).
