  1. Did you ever consider a pair of 8's to be in his range? I think A8, T8s, 98s would be in his range, particulary if he turned a flush draw. I Also think its crazy to tr and compare this hand to the one Daniel played in a cash game where he flopped trips. I the cash game the stacks were much deeper whcih changes the dynamic by so much, with less than 30bb its so dificult to get away from trips, whcih brings me to your call preflop. YOu say that you have "odds" to call, but with a hand as weak as yours what possible flop are you hoping to hit? trips is the absolute best you could hope for, and yo
  2. Im obviously never going to be getting the immediate odds to set mine, flopping a set is like 8:1 and id only be getting that if everyone limped. My pre flop decision was all about implied value, and villian is obv repping a strong hand by raising utg so we would expect him to cbet most flops, and especially this one with like 100% of his range right???one thing i have been hearing a bit about when looking for odds to set mine is raise size to stack size ratio, and ppl recomending 10:1 raise size to stack size in order to set mine, because that somehwat accounts for the times you hit a set and
  3. UTG 90BBCO 97BBBT 20BBSB(hero) 70BBThese are the only important stack sizes (I have a reason for not converting the hand which will be onvious soon). PRE FLOP: (9 handed table)Hero has 44 in the small blind. UTG raise it to 4bb, CO calls Button calls and hero calls. Normally i would fold a small pp oop but i figured with this many callers i had the odds to essentially set mine, comment if my logic is wrong.FLOP: pot 17bb449 rainbow. hero checks, UTG bets 14bb, hero calls.TURN: pot 45bb7, bring a second heart. hero checks, UTG bets 20bb, hero raises to 51bb....I dont rea
  4. I think limp calling preflop is generally a bad play as a flush is realy the only hand that you are going to love on the flop (straight as well) but if it comes kxx or jxx you are put in a dificult position because ak, aj and high pockets are definatly in his range. I also think you were pretty lucky to end up with position in the hand. the rest seems fine , bigger raise on the river and hate life if he shoves

  6. If the BB is competent as you think than i think that is a perfect board to be raising as a bluff or semi-bluff with any multitude of Qx or Kx hands, that you obviously have beat. Especially when you are running 24/18 a hugh range of your preflop raising hands didnt hit that board so his raise could just be to test his hand or take it off you when you c-bet 99, tt and Ax that missed.A safe play would be call and wait for a safe turn card and then shovel or you could stick it in now. I think you have the best hand more then enough of the time to justify stacking off in this spot
  7. Is it possible to get rake back on an already existing account at full-tilt?Alternativly would anyone here recommend creating a new account in order to get rake-back? I know this is frowned upon, but rake is so huge at the smaller stakes and could easily make up a few ptbb/100.?????
