  2. Hey, just wondering if anyone knew of a way to reset the players poker stats at the table for after a rebuy period b/c i know that alot of people will play a different range of hands during the rebuy then they will after the break.the only filter I can think of is the one where it just shows the last so many hands, but thats not what im really looking for.Any suggestions?
  3. I don't really like getting more money in this pot, unless you have a specific read on the villian.
  4. Yes. Even if he can 3bet semi bluff out of position, I dont mind giving up the bets to that type of power, because we as the hero at the table will catch onto that and make him pay. Also, we got him guessing if he decided to just call with a better hand, now we have position, maybe not the best hand, but you can be sure he's gonna be cautious on the upcoming streets.
  5. Since it seems like everyone is in consensus.....Villian had a set of 3's, confirming that he's a calling station.Im still not sure about the river, I just kinda felt like I was beat after the turn call, but with my image, and with his style, I think it should be possible to extract value on the river, I also think that he probably can't check/raise bluff, and if I have that read, I should probably value bet it?This kinda reminds me of a hand I had the other day against a calling station, but he was like 51/2 with no aggression, I had top two on the turn, and he check raised me, the only hand
  6. I don't know? I guess I thought he would check call down with hands better than JJ as well, and I didn't think i was holding a strong enough hand to value bet the fourth barrel, but value betting on the river is another one of my weak traits.Sooo, all things considered about the villian, river is usually a bet as well?Oh, also, at this table im running about 25/20, total aggression of like 60 and my attempt to steal is around 27%, if that factors into any decisions.
  7. Villian is 24 / 6 with overall agression of 36.84 (not the number u guys usually use, its Agression Frequency Total) He's gone to showdown 20% of the time, and only steals 1%, but defends bb, only folded 2 out of 5 times in the bb to steal..... ---- Only 56 hands in this session though ( i never use overall stats just session)PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)UTG ($46.95)MP ($5.65)CO ($23.15)Hero ($49.25)SB ($43.75)BB ($39.60)Preflop: Hero is Button with J, J. 3 folds, Hero raises to $1.5, 1 fold, BB
  8. "Blinds are 150/300 with 25 Ante. I have 1800 chips "Thats why.
  9. I like betting more on the flop, closer to the 2.45 thats in the pot.If he's a calling station, I'll probably fire again with anything better than 2nd pair, so i would probably check down the 77.If he's completely laggy, I might even just check the flop and try to showdown cheap and pick off some bluffs. If he's standard TAG or a nit, ill play the cbet, check down line.
  10. Shoving any two on the next hand, I wouldn't call that advanced strategy at all, its probably not even close to proper strategy. You'll have a desperate stack in the blinds on the next hand, you can be a little selective.Edit: I read that wrong I guess, shorty will be on the button next hand, and you'll be faced just against the 2nd place guy, yeah I like shoving any two cards if short folds.
  11. The blinds were 200/400,with an ante, Ican't think of how much, but I think the lower ante level like 25 or something.Im sitting with around 3600 under the gun, at a very very loose/aggressive table. There are 17 people left, it pays back fpps to 11th, and it pays the seat to the top five.A 7 offsuit utg, standard shove?
  12. Raise around the pot size amount on the flop and evaluate from there, thats what i would do.
  13. Thanks, yeah you guys are right, my bets were getting way too weak, I fixed that last night after readding some of the replies and after talking to a much more successful online player then me on aim last night about aggression in a six max game.I guess the past months or so I got carried away with making little value bets everywhere just to the point it got ridiculous, and even having success, which Im sure you can do with many strats b/c the low limits, even up to .50/1 this month, I wasn't maximizing value and I was ending up in spots like this with my sets. Now i've been potting the flop,
  14. Oh also I dont know if I was this specific, but I more so mean defending the blind against a steal. I see how you should be folding more if your opponent generally has a hand when raising your blind, but in six max games people are very onto the late position stealing with any two cards. Is it more just a feel game, and you are playing any two cards back at them if your timing is right and you have them on a bluffing hand?
