76O From Bb (First Ever Hand Review, Sorry If A Little Confusing.)

Recommended Posts

From Connecticut (22), this is from the poker room here @ Sugarhouse Casino in Philly this morning. Went something like this. my stack is $125

Looking at 7s6d , 7 players dealt in, I'm BB, limps all around w/ few folds, I check, 4 see the flop, flop is 7h6sJh, i bet $10, utg calls (stack about $150) , utg+1 folds, CO calls (stack about $300), turn is Qh, i check, utg bets $10, CO folds, I call , heads up to river, River is a 7c .I check, Utg bets $10 , I raise $50, utg tanks eventually calls, I turn over full house, he shows QcJc.

Had to quickly leave table, came to Philadelphia with a few friends who were waiting to leave. Quick background, I've been playing live 2-4 Limit since the day I turned 21, recently decided to make a move to 1-2 NL, and take poker a lot more seriously.

It was the first hand I played at this table so I didnt know how tight or loose these players were. I'm worried my betting was a little wacky. I don't quite have a system to betting and would like to know what you guys/ladies would have done differently, and how do you typically bet? Also, if I gave enough info for the hand. Thank you for your time.

Seems like you played it fine to me. You could vary it by check-raising the flop occasionally, but that's not really necessary. Sizing also seems fine, though you probably could've squeezed it up to $60 or so on the river.

Are you wondering if you left money on the table?

I don't think you can get many people to call a larger raise on river.

Good hand

Ever coming back to 4BB?

I think you should have bet the turn and check raised the river. It's more believable and he cant take a free card on the turn.
