  1. but still, does anybody know how he's doing, or how i can find out?
  2. If anybody reads ESPN Page 2, The Sports Guy, Bill Simmons, is playing in the WSOP. I can't find any information on how he's doing or if he's played yet. Anybody have any idea?
  3. anybody have any idea when its scheduled to be up again?
  4. they didn't used to allow ipods, but last time i went i saw a bunch of them around in the new poker room, so maybe with the new room they are now allowing it. the new room is called "The World Poker Tour Room" or something like that, so maybe since the WPT allows ipods, so does the poker room ?
  5. i don't think the 10k for event fees is really valid reasoning as to why you don't see him a lot. i would suspect that fulltilt would be paying for a lot of his entry fees in exchange for him representing the site.
  6. to those of you who did, thanks for watching. i ended up finishing 2nd for a tidy 590 profit. i'll be looking out for you guys in the future to keep an eye on. thanks again
  7. final table 20 + 2 FCP MTT , my name is DrTroy
  8. if i knew the answer to this i wouldn't be spending my time reading this question. the landscape of poker today has created so many donkeys that don't know how to fold a hand.
  9. i forgot that i posted this but thanks for the responses. this happend on fullcontactpoker's poker room. i guess i'll email support to see what they say about it.
  10. can somebody help me out with this? look at this hand history, i really don't think i can get reraised here since the raise by the all-in player over the top of the original raiser wasn't as much as the original raise, therefore it is not a raise. do i have a beef here? by the way I am DrTroy and yeah I know I probably shouldn't be in with k9 even tho it was suited, but i didn't think i could get a reraised and i wanted to see if i could catch a big flop. 11. thank you for wasting my time with another bad beat story. you think that doesn't happen everywhere?
  12. i tend to look for higher amounts of hands played per hour. if you are a good player you want to see more hands per hour because that should decrease the short term variance that is inevitable with fish present, especially at the lower limits. i also look for larger avg. pot size because if you have an edge, which you better think you have if you are playing this game to begin with, then you might as well play in a game where the reward is higher.
  13. by no means is it as bad as you are making it. you raised so much, a lot of people online do that when they have a big but vulnerable hand, not with the nuts. plenty of idiots online make that play with kj or even a pair and a flush draw. its a bad beat but not terrible.
