I have just been copy and pasting from PStars, but if there is a better method please let me know so I can do this correctly. Anywho, you can see where we are at in this $4.40, and I recently got switched to this table. I made my raise preflop and hit a nice flush draw on the flop. I led out for 1/2 the pot with two players behind (was this an okay bet) and got 1 caller. Do I continue to bet on the turn or does the resistance on the flop bet slow me down? Thanks for any insight anyone can provide. I tried putting the results in white also because I think that's what I read to do once.
Chet Chetterson 0
Hand Converters can be found here, please use them. http://www.fullcontactpoker.com/poker-foru...showtopic=87906As for the hand, if you have enough feel for the player that he will fold to more aggression then a bet is fine in either spot, you probably have 8 or 9 outs to the flush and six outs with the over cards. The safe play that you made is perfectly acceptable

pokerinc 0
I think w/ a flop bet that small i'm definitely gonna fire the turn as well. more likely i'd bet 475 at the flop, it's a good spot to get money in for us imo.
tbrick412 0
I think you played the hand just fine... the queen hits his possible range?

babyelephant 0
i probably would bet the flop harder maybe 400-
gt9550 0
Thanks for all the responses. In hindsight I wish I had bet a little more on the flop and maybe bet the turn. I figured him for some pocket pair, hence the call on the flop. The plan for villain may have been to see how things played out on the turn. I suppose betting the Q could have taken it down if he did have a small PP. Anywho, he showed 10J offsuit and I won the pot as was, so it worked out this way. I'm just always trying to learn. babyelephant 0
i would probably lead the turn also
GUGA KUERTEN 0
yeah I bet the turn
TrueAce13 18
Yeah I'm definitely leading that turn as well
AimHigher 0
The villain only has 1600 behind so any bet on the turn makes us pot committed. We do have some fold equity on the turn but I think if we bet we're going to find ourselves being priced into calling a shove pretty often. I think I'd rather try and draw for free than bet the turn. I think I'd rather try and draw for free than bet the turn.this. you cant ever over estimate someone being pot committed in a 4.40... the moment they put any chips in, you gotta expect them to go all the way, my reasoning for checking the turn. I think i could still call a smallish bet on the turn if villain bets here though. Obviously villain thought his J10 was good here?
