I lost the first 3 within 10 days of each other back in April. Despite this, I'm 3rd (out of 14), and things were looking up, with Madison and Marte due back soon, and Trea running all over the place. I figured a nice single Mom would want someone steady, someone safe, someone who makes good money to help take care of little Timmy. But apparently I was wrong because I never match with any of them. Basically a prepaid debit card with an attached savings account that pays 5% on up to $5k. You can have up to 4 for a total of $20k. It really should be seen as a 3 month CD though because you forfeit interest if you withdraw before quarter end. They charge crazy fees for using the debit card which is why they can pay 5%, not to mention their target market doesn't exactly have $5k to park for a few month, but they don't do any income checks or anything. It's a bit of a process to load/unload money but it's doable and can be done fee free. (Sign up and get debit card (1-2 weeks) > Link debit card to your checking account (2-3 days) > transfer money from bank account to debit card (2-3 days) > transfer to savings (immediately)> wait for quarter end to get interest paid) To unload Transfer from savings to debit card (instant) > transfer from card to checking account (2-3 days) or withdraw from ATM ($1,500/day + $3 fee + ATM fee) I've got a few cards setup at the moment. And since it's an actual savings account it's FDIC insured and they've had this rate for years so it's probably not going away anytime soon.
