While it borders on being a gimmick, that must of been a special moment last night for the Staal family.
The only other brother trio I recall playing together was the Stastny brothers in Quebec. They were all legitimate NHLers and played together for a while as I recall.

I thought it was great.
And I used to love watching the Stastnys play, the Nordiques were one of my favourite teams growing up.

Stastny's were awesome.
I know there were like 56 Sutter brothers in the NHL. Not sure if three ever played together, I dont think they did.
When you see stories like this , it makes you wonder ...How much of making the NHL is god given talent, and how much is hard work, dedication, character instilled by good solid family values.
Very few kids out of 100000s of thousands that play hockey make the NHL, but 3 from the same family means something.(4 Staals actually)
Subban's are another example.

Genetics to be an athlete. Opportunity to play at an early age and get the proper coaching plus a supportive positive Family.
