GeneralGeeWhiz 0
http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/blog/big_leagu...?urn=mlb-265783105 mph fastball is pretty fast. actually its ludacris speed. too bad the reds have dusty as their coach. he leaves his pitchers in for 230 pitches per game. SW. but he has horrible pitch count management.
pezeveng 207
Prior and Wood can both thank Dusty Baker, was Zombranno there during Baker as well. I think Zombranno is burnt out, not the same pitcher as years past.Maddux was a great example of how to pitch and not throw the ball. Everyone gets a hard on for a kid that can throw 100 mph+ but either they get injured or they can't throw strikes. Randy Johnson was the last hard thrower that could pitch as well.Maddux had a 90 mph fastball with an 80 mph change and could throw both for strikes.
