AHL GM's European Summit 2015 was a blast! Whalers really embraced the culture....     As per tradition of trades whenever owners cross paths... Whalers and Swackers have agreed to swap .25 both

Anyone care to set an over/under on this total? Two stacked lineups, I'm setting the O/U at 10

My guess would be under. Hard to predict two teams to put up a 10, no matter how strong it may look on paper.

Big M fwds 4.794, def 1.880, less goalies -1.340 for total of 5.334

Whalers fwds 4.188, def 1.867, less goalies -1.190 for total of 4.865

combined total 10.199, so yah probably going to be a score of 1.5-0.5

The Big Ms are an embarrassment to fantasy hockey. One of the worst performances ever. Most likely THE worst.

-2.5 on a 30 team night. It’s sad how this once proud franchise is now a joke.

His fans , his city and the whole snow tire industry are ashamed of this team.

As per Bobs instruction's

Lineup error. Our overtime player was not in lineup.

At approx 11:00 am we changed our goalies from WINN to LAK. As i was resubmitting forwards/defence I put in Brock Nelson by accident instead of Phil Kessel as our first forward. Our overtime player was still correctly listed as Phil Kessel.

I noticed just after 1:00 and immediately notified Bob(coincidentally our opponent today).

He told us to correct the mistake and post it in the FCP and slack forums.

As Serge would say, I need to be "publicly shamed".

What’s does it say about my team that I’ve lost 8 regular season games... and 8 champions league games?

What’s does it say about my team that I’ve lost 8 regular season games... and 8 champions league games?

Does not say much about your team in general. For the most part Regular games you play entire league (weak teams and strong). Champions league you play only top team.

Slight variance but not a large out of the normal possibilities situation.

I looked a little bit deeper and my +/- on Champions nights is reasonably good (3rd among Div A and B teams). So probably just negative variance there, and likely positive variance in the regular league.

The worst case scenario is that my regular wins are coming vs the worst teams while I'm only playing the top 7 teams in Champions, and losing more frequently.

How do the playoffs for Champions League work? Don't see anything in the current thread.

I believe this is the current playoff format.

Changes for next season:

The number of teams who qualify for the post-season will also change to 5. The #4 and #5 seed will play in a wild card game with the top 3 teams in each division getting a bye. The top seed will then play the wild card team, and the #2 and #3 seeds will play.

The series' will now be best 2 out of 3 with the higher seeded team winning ALL tie games. No overtime players, if the score is tied the "home team" wins.

This gives more value to the regular season and it also finishes before the AHL playoffs start which I think will be good because obviously the AHL playoffs are where it's at in terms of focus.

Posted schedule in current champions league thread supports this format

Wildcard Game Dec 29th

Semi-Final Game 1 Jan 2nd

Semi Final Game 2 Jan 4th

Sem-Final Game 3 Jan 20th

Finals Game 1 Jan 23rd

Finals Game 2 Jan 25th

Finals Game 3 Jan 30
