00Lenny 0
I'll do my best to keep this away from a bad beat whine. Started grinding SnG's about 8 months ago, had about $150, managed my roll well, stuck to 100+ buyins of whatever level I was at and have not strayed away from it. Worked my way up to about $750 just prior to the SCOOP, played a bit of the SCOOP, and started this sick run I'm on there. Took a break for a few weeks. Tried again, and long story short, I've blown off EVERYTHING that I added to my roll in the last 200 SnG's or so, sitting at about $190 again. Nothing is working right now, feels like I've lost EVERY 60/40 and 75/25, especially when it counts. And it's not just an AIPF bad run in turbos. It's postflop, turn, river, stream, creek, you name it.So what's the way to handle this? I'm confident and capable of beating the $1 and $3 SNG's and I *REALLY* want to get back to building my roll like I was, but is it worth making a deposit of a couple hundred and moving back up, or would that be throwing good money after bad right now? Should I stick with it until I start back on the rise? I'm on Stars, for the record.Help a brother out here.

r23y 2
I would say drop back down.Sounds to me like you need to build up some convidence. If you add money to your account most likely you will not fair well until you build your self back up.

JSpencer 0
Put it all on blackI had a friend who attempted this once. We all brought $400 to a casino. He immediately went to the roulette tableand put everything on black stating that if he won, he was meant to win big, and if he lost, he was meant to loseit all anyway.Needless to say it landed on red. He spent the rest of the night at the penny machines filching free drinks off the cocktail waitresses.

PocketAcesA5 6
Whatever you do don't think about where you were at with your bankroll. Think about what you can do to build it again. It sucks but if you want to play higher, then deposit. I would say build from where you are. You should try the double up sngs to build back up. Look up winning strategies on those. They would be a good way to build back up to 300-400 for a br then play regular sngs and maybe cash games. You might have leaks that you need to watch out for. Always think positive and never tilt. Sometimes it may be hard, taking a bankroll hit but if you keep working on your game you may end up being really good. Don't let that level of poker effect your life though. Trying hard to build 190 can take a lot of time and drain you. Maybe take time off poker for a week and read up on some strategy. You might get the itch to play but take it slow. 190 can be easy to blow online. That's all I got.
kouta43 0
If you really are capable of beating these SnG's just grind your roll back up. If you cant do that then you probably arent as +EV as you think. Good Luck !
