Can't see any reason to disagree with much of this. I'd like the Jets to win, they just won't. Saints may manage more of a spread (perhaps 30--20).

Wilbon did something the other day that drives me crazy. In one segment he was talking about how he wouldn't be surprised if the Jets beat the Colts because they have a great defense and a good running game and they're playing well and blah blah blah. Then the next segment when talking about Norv Turner, he's saying he should be fired because they lost to a 9-7 team.Well, which is it? Are they just a 9-7 team or are they a team with a great defense and a good running game capable of going to the Super Bowl?I'm hoping for a Saints-Colts Super Bowl, so it's a near lock that one of those teams will lose.

Was part of what because of who now?Just kidding, do you mean why isn't Norv being fired for going 13-3 and then losing in the first round of the playoffs when Marty did the same thing and got fired? That's a reasonable argument. But then you don't need to try to make the opponent sound like a huge underdog when you just got done talking about how good they are.

My friend, whose a Packer fan, told me at some point Favre is going to rip your heart out with a bone head play. I'm pretty sure that was it. I couldn't move when that ball was picked off. I just couldn't believe with all the turnovers we had today he still throws that ball. This loss doesn't hurt as bad as 1998, but it stings.

It took him 25 minutes but he figured out those blitzes eventually.I love Favre bashing but the Vikings really outplayed the Saints in that game. 6 fumbles (3 lost), 2 picks and they still score 28 and should have had a chance to win it at the end of regulation. NO got super lucky and I do not like their chances much against Indy. Saints run a poor man's version of the Jets defense and we all saw how well all that blitzing worked on Manning....

My favorite quote I heard (and this might've been from the first time they played) was one of the Jets players talking about how Manning was calling out who was blitzing and where he was going and the defensive players were just thinking, what do we do now? Do we still go?

Actually it's worse than that.He had an INT on his last play as a Falcon.He had an INT on his last play as a Packer.He had an INT on his last play as a Jet.He had an INT on his last play as a Viking, unless he returns.
