  1. These are so rare its not even worth considering, and if one of them ever sat down at a table with you, you would probably never know it. These people go where the money is at, and therefore while still unlikely, you probably have a greater chance of enountering these in a B&M casino rather than online. There's just so much more money there.Sorry, this is 100% wrong. There are colluders on every single website going today. Many of them are quite skilled. It is not rare. It may actually be more rare to play an entire session online and NOT run across some colluders. I am not a cons
  2. NO SOUP FOR ME? lol Never knew Hotmail took such a bad rap! I am who I say I am, even though I have only a hotmail email address. Check out any Poker Player, Bluff, 5th St., etc. You can also see some older articles at http://www.pokerpages.com/articles/archives/index.htm and click on my name. - John Carlisle
  3. Thanks all. I did uncover the old thread on the topic, too. I got some good stuff for the article.
  4. The wife cheating thing ... No, but I may use that idea for a future article, though. LoL
  5. I have interviews lined up for two major pro players this week, FullContact's own Daniel N. and Evelyn Ng. What are the questions that you would want posed? This is for new magazine Top Pair, which is supposed to have some "sizzle" and be fun. With that, you can be a bit (just a bit, guys) adventurous with the questions. Perhaps I'll use your idea, and you can find out the reply! Thanks, John
  6. I'm looking for individuals to tell the story on how they cheat (or used to cheat) at poker... in homegames, online, or live action cardrooms. Collusion, marked cards, false dealing, whatever. I'm writing an article on the topic for a major poker magazine. I'll change your name, if you'd like. PM or email me if you'd rather not post the details here. carlisle14@hotmail.com. To you non-cheaters who read this thread: I know you may think that nobody will open up and contact me. I'm a betting man, and I bet I will get more than one reply to this one. Someone will want to "brag" and have
  7. Thanks all. I'll let a few possters here know if their gems will make it into print. I got a few laughs from this thread, too. Thanks again.
  8. Give me some details here and I can work your story & name into the article... unless you don't want your wife knowing.
  9. Nice. Brings poker to (even more) of the masses. If poker to to be 100% mainstreamed and accepted, this is a great step. The novelty will be the chance to "beat" the pros. Kudos, Daniel.
  10. Hey guys, has an attractive girl ever cost you $$ by using her looks & flirting at the table? Tell me your story! I'm doing a magazine article on the topic and am looking for guys who are willing to admit to their mistakes! I'll get your permission via PM before I put you stuff in print. Thanks.
  11. Click on current issue download or download archives. It will be in the current issue, but not until sometime after the Jan 10th release date. If you don't want to deal with the site, pick up a free copy at any major cardroom -- Foxwoods, Atlantic City, and Vegas have tons of them.
  12. Pick up a free copy of Poker Player at your favorite casino or cardroom. In the upcoming Jan. 10th issue, take a look at my article on Page 30. There you will see that I have a mention of this forum and forum moderator Jayson Weber. If you can't get to a cardroom, watch for the issue to be loaded onto poker player's website http://gamblingtimes.com/poker_player/. Keep your posts and insights coming, and your prompt question may appear in an upcoming article, too!
  13. Some more advice for you Avs,Tread lighlty as you go back into the B & M's. You may have changed yourself and your outlook on the game since you were there before. "You" may now be a slightly differnt "you." Ease into it and hit your comfort zone. It'll come to you, if you give it time.Use your chip marker as a focusing agent. When you place it on top of your holds, clear your mind and focus directly on the task at hand. Did you ever see those basketball pros doing those little rituals before the foul shot -- talking to themselves, a empty-handed practice shot, wtc? That is the same
