Just to confirm if Burns is my designated OT player. My OT order is Burns then my forwards in order? I don't have to post on site?

If you are not a fan of statistical probabilities for line-ups, you can stop reading now and go to next post.

Projected scores for current lineups of opening AHL playoff game #1

Steelheads (forwards 2.713, defense 1.239, goalie -1.225)
2.727
Shootloose (forwards 2.445, defense 1.285, goalie -1.770
1.960

Red Ravens (forwards 4.032, defense 0.884, goalie -1.130)
3.786
Mustangs (forwards 2.846, defense 0.446, goalie -2.500)
0.792

Shortstacker (forwards 2.590, defense 1.419, goalie -1.345)
2.664
Broadway (forwards 2.230, defense 0.815, goalie -1.740)
1.305

Whalers (forwards 3.016, defense 1.109, goalie -1.250)
2.875
Pkdealers (forwards 2.702, defense 1.426, goalie -1.345)
2.783

I'm sure tonight's results will be nothing like projected.

Hello Ortenzio. Love the writeup

I know I'm a serious dog tonight with my big 3 forwards not playing but I'm curious how you came up with 1.74 for Pitt goal? Murray is playing against Carolina with a 2.32 GAA
Happy Trails

John ( UntiLTed, Broadway or whatever)

Goalies are tricky because empty net and overtime count against ahl team score but not against goalies gaa. I basically used Pittsburgh gaa for the season. Not the most accurate but usually close enough. That being said, I rechecked my numbers and I did have yours and shootloose wrong. I had entered his team gaa as 3.54 instead of 2.54 and yours 3.48 instead of 2.48. lol. I will adjust shortly. Good luck tonigh.

Standings on NHL.com already take SO losses into account in the GA column.

We are drawing dead to the scoring adjustment. tied 4.0-4.0 and you have the tie-breaker, but yes a crazy game.

I could be wrong, but I believe we have top 2 scores of the night.

Ya, I want Cgy to score in OT just to give me some breathing room, I dont trust stats at all! lol
That was a crazy see-saw the last hour, Toews/Granlund/Toews/Granlund+Cgy goal/Toews/Cgy goal.......

I was going to say earlier today, I have a feeling our series will put up a lot of high scores.

Giordino goal from Monahan against our goalies for a net 2.0 goal. Final 5.5-3.5. I guess not very close after all. lol

The Calgary/Nashville games was worth +6.0 for Whalers

It looks like we pulled off the upset.

5 goals on Dubnyk with no points to Kane is a nice touch.
