I really like that Gastellum v Woodley fight. Should be explosive, unless it goes into the 3rd.

I disagre that Cain is set for life. Sponsors disappear when you don't do the thing they are paying you to do.

It is a solid card this weekend and I'm glad it's free, and not to harp on it, but how jacked would you be if they eliminted a couple of these events heading to the end of the year and combined them into 2 big PPVs and one awesome free card? Instead, we have something like 5 or 6 events until the end of year card. I know, broken record.
I make $31,000 dollars a year and I have a home.

This year was definitely an experiment.
They're trying to figure out the right balance between free and PPV but I think everyone agrees saturation has occured.

Mark these words, which may seen strange now but will make much more sense if it comes to pass; if Fox doesn't renew the UFC in 2018, the roster will be halved in virtually every division and we go back to stacked PPVs with a MUCH smaller handful of free cards on whatever cable network picks them up. Right now the roster is bulked up because of the Fox broadcasting requirements. If that goes away, the UFC very quickly returns to the way things were only with a modicum of free cards... just not one a week.

They've cheapened what once felt like an 'event' into a routine sport.

I think the UFC's fine. I like the extra cards. Cane's fine he's got millions in the bank. Was a bad year because of injuries, but that's going to happen periodically.

The ufc should pay Frank Mir off to get rid of him, nobody wants to see him fight again. Lesnar's only fun if he is winning. Lesnar vs Hunt nowwwwwww

As for the fox contract, I'd be surprised if they didn't re sign with the ufc. They wouldn't stack ufc coverage on fs1 if the ufc was losing them money would they?

TUF tonight was great. All the conflict is Pettis' fault. He really seems dimwitted. Melendez seems like a great coach although he made shitty draft picks

Bellator 131 was the highest rated MMA match on cable for all of 2014 with 1.8mm viewers.

UFC is probably tilting to the moon,

They won't be able to do it again unless it is something like Tito/Rampage.

I've been listening to the Jason Ellis show on Sirius a lot this week and there has been some inteteresting mma stuff.

---Jake Ellenberger opening up about how unlucky he is and doesn't know what to do to not get caught by something. He feels like he is better than everyone he fights but can't win.

---Dolce cuts weight with all his athletes. In 3 consecutive weeks he gained 20 pounds and lost 20 pounds

---An hour before the Kennedy/Romero fight, Tim Kennedy and Greg Jackson were showing Big John videos of how Yoel cheats in his fights when he gets in bad spots. Yoel was yelling "no mas" on the stool to Big John when he wouldn't get off the stool. Hearing all this changed my opinion on Yoel pretty dramatically

Akbarh Arreola really wifed Yves Edwards in that fight. Watch out for this kid. Granted, that will be Edwards last fight in the UFC ( the only reason he was allowed to stay after such a skid is because he has a ton of OG cred) Arreola really put it to him.

I guess that is the end of the "Killer Cub" clothing line.

I was glad to see Bobby Green lose finally. What a clown. I don't care what his background story is, you don't taunt your opponent if you are getting your ass beat
