yeah. seriously, in the area i grew up, there was only one town with black people in it, and the population was about 50-60% black. and yeah, the town was looked down upon by my town and surrounding towns.and seriously, throughout school, every girl i had dated had been white. i had always known i wanted to date interracially, asians specifically, but of course, the options were not there at all.

pretty much. because i mostly wasn't encouraged into this. my grandparents, who i spent a lot of time with, who didn't know any better, were rather racist. not racist enough that it impaired their judgement as people as a whole, but definitely leaning on the racist side. and forget about interracial dating. my mom actually had been offered a date from a black guy, but turned him down, not that she didn't want to, but out of fear of what her parents would say or do.my mom didn't encourage it, but she certainly didn't discourage it either. which is a blessing.but seriously, it's more of a natural thing to me than anything else. i've never seen anything wrong about it except for the perceptions that my peers had given me through the years (of course, pretty negative) and my fear of what they thought. i got over that a while ago, but that was even hard itself. and of course, no longer having to hang around high school buddies meant i could pick my friends better, and i wound up surrounding myself with people that didn't see a problem in it.but honestly? this is pretty laughable, but i can actually see signs of this kind of thing pretty early on in my life. that would be a huge list to compile, but i could definitely compile quite a few.

I think I'm gonna get a new phone/plan since I've moved. I can't decide what phone to get, what do you guys think?should i get the Motorola Razor or the Samsung vcast?

My buddy just got a vcast and it's super nice. Depends on whether the size/portability matters to you; the vcast is a bit thick. Vcast's mini display when the phone is closed is the best I've ever seen, though.

Sweet, yeah the size isn't really a matter for me. I was kinda leaning towards the VCast anyways because I like the way it looks, plus it's like $50 cheaper than the Razr.

The Samsung phone isn't called the VCAST...VCAST is an internet service that you can get on the phone. It's also available on the Razr.
