  1. SO, if we have a forum account we can start this, or do we need to have a poker account? Sorry, just got back from vacation and just saw this and am very interested.
  2. I played 4 round 4's last night and got top 5 in all of them to start off the night. Had my enty chip bankroll up to 1650.00 Played 2 round 5's thought and got 5th and 6th. I am not at about 750. again. after playing some 4's and 3's moving on is some and not in others. Since I have 750. I will play a round 4 to start off tonight. I need to get it back up to around 1100 to play a round 5 again. I need the cash so I have to play a round 5 before I usually want to. Once you get out of round 2 and 1, you will love it Aseem. It is not guaranteed everytime like I said, but only having
  3. Aseem, Yes, round 1 and 2 are kinda tough because of the maniacs and having to get 1st or 2nd to move on. But it isnt that hard. I would say I am 40% in round 1. The key is to get to round 3. 3 and 4 are (I wouldnt say easy) but you only have to get in the top 5. It takes a different mentality but once you get used to it, it is not that bad. Once you get a round 3 won you should be set for awhile if you do what I did. Look at it this way and you can PM me if you like and I can explain better. Once you get 4th or better in round 3 you have an entry chip worth 275.00. So instead of play
  4. I know this has been discussed before and the comments about if they are profitable and such. But I am just wondering if anyone else plays them on Prima. I play them now about 5 hours a night. I mainly just stock pile my entry chips. I played round 1 for 5.50 and won my entry to round 2 which I won. Then played round 3 which I got within top 4 that moves on to round 4. But instead of playing round 4 for the 275.00 entry chip, I play round 3 again for 112.50 entry chip and have 162.50 left in enty chips. If I get in the top 4 in round 3 again, I will play round 4 for the 275.00 entry ch
  5. I would be in, send me some details.
  6. ON that one link to the save toby thing. Is there any way that guy really has got 14,000.00 on that. If so, that is one of the easiest ways to make money I have ever seen.
  7. I just wanted everyone to know that I was refunded the buy in for the tourney on 2/8 and for another one that I was playing at the same time. Both hurt me pretty bad and I was involved in a big pot a couple times that might have had something to do about it but I thought I would let you know. It's only 11.00 but some poeple might need it. They will ask you for the tourney id number and will do a investigation to see if enough hands were folded or a big pot was lost because the freeze happened in the middle of it.My second question, which I know has been mentioned before is about pokertracke
  8. It is an impossible list to actually make I think. Everyone has there favorites and biasses. There would be about 2 or 3 that would be in almost everyones top 8 but beyond that, it is tough to say. Especially since most of us never see even close to the amount of hands they really play because of editing and side games. A lot of what we know about most pro's is here say and watching edited tv. But it is fun to see what people think in this kind of discussion. I think it would be hard to not put Juanda and Daniel on the list right now. They are both in a zone in tourney play. Gus Hanse
  9. Well, I have actually found 6 handed to be better for me. Even at 1-2 fixed. I play just a little loser pre flop with no raises, but in 6 handed, people are raising and calling with very poor hands all the way to the river. They think that since only 3 people were in the whole time, they must have one way covered. I also recommend keeping track of the names of the players. I have a list of about 6 on Pokerstars that are just aweful. Calling to the river with no low and high pair on board with flush draws. It is just amazing. You will get rivered badly every once in awhile but you know
  10. I think is what he means is that a good player will know when to fold and get out of pots that he cant win or cant hit a monster. If you know what your doing and play at the right pots with good hands, you should win almost every time. That is considering you are a good player and that you get some ok cards. Nothing is guaranteed in cards, but if you get action with your nut hands from 5 people, then it will pay much more than you seeing a couple flops and getting out early because you know you wont win.
  11. I agree with Jayson on the multi tabling holdem and Omaha hi/low. I also play the sng's with it. I have noticed better results in my sng game actually while I have been doing this. I couldnt tell you the exact reason why yet, but it has worked. It might be the possitive attitude I get after scooping a big pot in Omaha. Knowing the game and playing hands that can scoop and getting out when you cant is key. So many people at those tables chase flushes with nothing else, they hit on turn and the board pairs on the river and they get crushed. They never learn. IT is funny. Playing i
  12. I should have been wearing that hat. I cashed out 600 last monday and left 300 in. It is now gone. All 300 I left in. I still know a site would not really make someone lose, but I am playing at another site for at least 2 or 3 weeks because last time I cashed out 800 about 4 weeks ago and couldnt win for about a week or two. Superstitious I guess. Plus I like trying out new sites every once and awhile. People will think of any excuss of why they cant win at cards, especially me.
  13. i signed up there back about 4 months ago because I had a sports book account and it is linked with there casino and I could play poker with the money in my sportsbook account. I think, you get the signup bonus of 10.00 plus 40% on your first deposit, no code needed. That is what I think it is. I only played there a couple times but the sng action there seems pretty weak. I might try those round 1,2,3,4,5 tourneys. What is your screen name. Maybe I will get to play with ya sometime.
  14. I know there has been a big arguement already about the vig and what not on these tournies. But here is my question. How long to you have to wait for a table to fill up at step 1, 2 ,3 etc at Prima. I mean, once you get to step 4, does it take 1 hour after signing up to get the table full. Just wondering, this one does seem better than PP's step.
  15. This is an interesting discussion to me regarding the tight and loose game and which one is more profitable. More than likely it depends on the way each individual plays. If you are timid and the maniac make you fold every hand cause you are scared of the big betting, well of course a tighter game is more your style. I am sure Smash means that with a loose table, you will get more money in the pot for your huge nut hands than if you had a tight table. And if you are a better player than the rest, you should know when to fold or cut your loses in a hand thus making the hands you play out a
