I have a customer (2 of them) who do it on a daily basis and says its cheaper for them to drive and park. I hope the government looks at helping businesses along the way if they extend Yonge Street. That Eglinton Crosstown is ruining many livelihoods. My suggestion was to not charge property tax for however many months work is being done, slowing down that particular property/business. The landlord would than in turn pass that savings to the tenant. I am just glad actual infrastructure change is being done, instead of just being debated. Here's the Relief Line North study area... City politics is much different than Provincial politics so I am not sure where he stands on certain provincial issues. Only things I've read so far 1. Sex Ed (means nothing to me) 2. Getting rid of the carbon tax forced by the federal govt (I agree with him) 3. Freezing the min wage at $14 (disagree I think $15 should be implemented but in 2020, give biz an extra year to adjust from the $14) 4. Getting rid of Prov tax for anyone earning under $30,000 (I agree with him on this, seniors paying income tax on a $25k retirement earnings is a joke!) 5. Cutting Hydro price by 22% (hot air I will believe it when I see it I might hate the guy on a personal level, but will listen to what he has to say. Let me find Wynne's top 5 and compare them.
