and sorry about not having everything up to date yet contract wise. I'll be working on that the next couple days and will have it all done hopefully before the weekend but if not over the weekend for

Unlike other predictions, these are meant to insult and offend both finalists.   #1 Eddie Shack Conference vs #1 Tiger Williams Conference   Steelheads (56-25-1) +/- 167 vs Big M (52-25-5) +/-

AHL GM's European Summit 2015 was a blast! Whalers really embraced the culture....     As per tradition of trades whenever owners cross paths... Whalers and Swackers have agreed to swap .25 both

Namestnikov moving to NYR can't be good for me. Doubles me up with Hayes and his production is obviously going to suffer not being on that TB top line or PP.

He looked real good last night

I only saw the 3rd+OT, but I would agree. I thought he looked very dangerous.

I think him moving to NYR might be better than people are saying. (did I say this already at FCHL, I feel like I have somewhere?)

I know its hard to believe he might do better without Stamkos+Kuch, and while Im sure his PP stats will take a hit, some guys thrive on the added ice time and pressure of being the guy. Maybe he's that kind of guy?

Im curious to see how Spooner does in NYR, I think that Nash trade will be looked at later as one of the all time best deadline trades.

That third period OT was insane. Namestnikov looked amazing. The Rangers look so bad defensively and Hank was amazing.

I know Lundqvist has been a Ranger forever but doesn’t he look to go to a contender in the off season. His contract is so bad and it’s almost impossible to move though without a significant cap/salary manoeuver

You have to ignore the Ranger D right now. Have of them are AHL players

Shattenkirk, Staal and Skjei will be the only locks in the 18/19 opening lineup

That sounds good then... maybe not as bad as I was thinking. Yay me!

My players had a pretty awesome first round... hope it wasn't wasted... it's going to take some great timing from all of them, again, to bring down the Mighty M's

What happens if the Leafs/Caps outdoor game on Saturday gets delayed? Like, what would the AHL do if the game was delayed until Sunday. (Reports of very high winds today forcing practice indoors.)

In the past the game has been cancelled.

Theoretically it’s the same for everyone.

Since it’s the playoffs and people built teams just for the playoff, any reason we couldn’t hold off on final scores until Sunday and count that game?

This is what I’ve proposed for the fchl. Seems like the most fair to me.

It’s like a 1/1000 chance of happening, but I wanted to put a contingency plan in place first so I could make an objective decision if it happens.

We’ll see what Bob says after he gets home from work.

I just chatted with Daniel about this and we both think that the cleanest thing is to include the Leaf Washington game with Saturday even if it's played on Sunday.

Now if it's cancelled entirely and not played at all this weekend teams can put in a lineup in the AHL forum that covers no Leafs or Washington players being available to them since we can't wait to have a result for our playoffs.

Swackers should be a pretty big fav today. I don't have goalies for the only time in the playoffs and I don't know if Kucherov and Pacioretty are playing so I've adjusted my OT order. My other forward choices are players like Tage Thompson and Tom Pyatt so I'm leaving them in and rolling the dice.

OT 4 - Nikita Kucherov (TBL)

OT 3 - Rick Nash (BOS)

OT 8 - Max Pacioretty (MTL)

OT 5 - Brandon Saad (CHI)

OT 6 - Adrian Kempe (LAK)

OT 7 - Richard Panik (ARI)

OT 1 - John Klingberg (DAL)

OT 2 - Torey Krug (BOS)

OT 9 - Stephen Johns (DAL)

OT 10 - Radko Gudas (PHI)
