well we're 2hrs and 23 minutes into this biotch and I'm sitting on just under 60k and 7th in overall chips. anyone else playing in this one???

thanks! i'll try, well I'm 4th with just iunder 70k, we started with 732, down to 97. top 80 pay.

thanks i appreciate it, they're droppin like flys now...obviously.down to 68, im 12th in chips with 74k.have a lot of big stacks at my table that refuse to tangle. could be a good thing, could be dangerous. I am not used to having a big stack this early, if i make a FT it is usually in the late, late stages when i accumulate chips...i have had to toss so many hands I'd never really toss i don't think. I do need to make a move and get back in the top ten echelon though...

not yet you don't, take it easy bud this is the crucial stage.Play extremely tight in EP, try to steal the blinds in late. Standard stuff I know but mistakes are made at this stage by trying to get cute to build your chips stack when you really don't have to.you are 12th, still 68 to go. You are in the top quarter of the field. don't make a move if you don't have to.I am speaking from experience. I get to this stage and then usually do something stupid. TAKE IT EASY

thanks man, good advice, pretty much what i'm doing, lots of action from short stacks. down to 55 players and dropping fast, still at 70k and in the top 15.finally a break, seemed like it was never going to come. no just 15, bought twice at the start and the add-ondown to 26 players, i'm widdled down to $44, 00 i havent seen paint or connected in 35 minutes and have had 0 steal opportunities, thats allright, still looking okay at 18th in chips .

what are the blinds in relation to your chip stack?you can still take this down, I have faith in you.

blinds are 5000/10000 i just squeakied into top 20, was UTG+1 with AK, raised all in for 35000, BB calles with 36 clubs, he flops open ended straight but doesnt happen, back up to 55k, but only 18th in chips....oh well, finished 18th, was in MP and jammed with A7 hearts and A10 in bb calls and hits the ten, turn gave me an open ender but no river dream, still bot bad 83.60 on 15 invested, i just got eaten alive when i got moved to a table where i was the shortstack with 70k, had no fold equity and no opportunities to steal or even play a hand for over 30 minutes, blinded away 30k...oh well, next time.

nice cash though, now you can lose that playing NL :)especially with KK and he has KK but has the diamond flush
