  1. I disagree with this one. If the game is good, the game is good. Losing four hands in a row doesn't mean anything unless you're tilting. If you're tilting, you should leave the game entirely, not change tables.
  2. Looks like you're up against 8, 9 but lots of other hands that make sense beat you too. I doubt he would flat call with AJ KJ QJ post flop, more likely to raise. On the turn he would raise with J 10, so that's probably not it either. Could be 55, 10 10, or even 77, but a raise on the turn prob would have come. A flat call on the turn looks like he hit strength with 8,9 but at low limits it's always tough to say - we often over-analyze. If the villain is solid, fold. If he's got moves, call.BTW, you had my favorite hand, down to the clubs and all. Since you're posting I assume you lost, but I'm
  3. You can't use Paypal in the US either. FT is super fast with checks, but good luck trying to get a bank wire. Just because it's in your cashout options doesn't mean it's any good. I stopped trying to get bank wires from FT after a series of issues - go with check by mail for sure. Bodog used to take forever, but it seems they've gotten their cashout issues solved as I've received 3 checks from them in the last two months and got each of them in my mailbox in about 5-6 days. Stars, UB, AP also have been really fast (within a week)...not sure about others atm.It seems like every room has problem
  4. I don't know how anyone plays more than 4 tables at a time, it makes my head explode. Plus, the screen sizes get so small I can't read the cards well enough. I know guys that play 8, but man that's too much processing for my little brain.
  5. Anyone want to put odds on Erick winning Player of the Year at the '09 WSOP and going back to back? I'm thinking about 70-1 is reasonable considering the number of pros that play all of the events, the big newcomers etc..
  6. It must be nice to have enough money to be able to do nothing.
  7. Who needs food when there are 4 Starbucks in every casino? Do they sell caffeine straight up?
  8. Since when did Minnesota care about this? I don't remember ever hearing about them having an issue with online gambling. I always thought they were one of the more liberal states on this issue.
  9. Did you really think you had the best hand after the turn, or are you justifying it to yourself now that you won? The reason I ask this is that we often try to justify our correct plays (to ourselves) when we're right. When we're wrong we tend to think 'that was a stupid play'. If you truly thought he was making a steal attempt and you made a great call, then I don't see any reason for you to be questioning yourself - it was a great play if that's what you were honestly thinking (that's what makes great players great). The fact that you're here asking about it though makes me think that maybe
  10. I like to pick on the tighter players, especially if they're to my left. If you find yourself in a seat where the 2-3 players to your left are waiting on big hands and hold short-average stacks, steal from them 1-2 times per round and at minimum keep your stack even until some cards come your way. If my stack is BIG and I'm card dead, I like to limp in late position with a wider group of hands than normal. Post flop if nobody is showing strength, go after those pots. I try not to risk too much in the situation you're talking about, prefer to keep chipping up slowly by winning as many small pot
