ph1985 0
So what are ppl's predictions for this year? I'm plumbing for another Lakers-Celtics battle with the obvious Heat-Celtics Conference finals. My team the Knicks (cue much laughter and mockery) hopefully scrape the Playoffs, then most likely straight out on their arses via the hand of the Heat or Celtics.ph1985
Skeleton Jelly 2
Predictions:1. Heat win > 65 but < 72 games and make the Finals.2. Kings make the playoffs and Cousins wins ROY.3. Lebron wins 3rd consecutive MVP while Bosh only averages about 15 ppg.4. Carmelo Anthony will both sign an extension and be traded in season.5. Cavaliers will be within 10 wins of the Thunder.6. Blazers get the #2 seed in the West behind the Lakers.I'm already bailing on my #2 prediction. I think the Rockets take the Suns playoff spot. I also think ROY voting will finish Blake Griffin, John Wall, then Cousins.

They will be lucky to be within 18 wins of OKC.Blake Griffin wins ROY in a close race over John Wall, imo.

I think the important thing to realize is that I'm basically a feces flinging monkey with this stuff.
Skeleton Jelly 2
I think the important thing to realize is that I'm basically a feces flinging monkey with this stuff.I suppose if Melo does get traded, there's a chance Denver slips out of the playoff picture, opening up another spot. Who moves up then?Which duo would you rather have:Eric Gordon and Blake GriffinorTyreke Evans and DeMarcus Cousins

If they both can play full season without injury, that would be amazing. But it is close....I think the 76ers will regret passing on Cousins.

Skeleton Jelly 2
5. Cavaliers will be within 10 wins of the Thunder.Man, if the season ended today I would've totally nailed this prediction.Yes, I know that would be the case regardless of what happened last night and will continue to be the case for the next ten games. Get off my back; that win made me feel good.

Get off my back; that win made me feel good. I like that prediction, even before last night. They have a lot of talent and with Varejao in the middle they'll still be a good defensive team. Skeleton Jelly 2
5 and 6, oh man, those were bad.In my defense, the Cavs were hovering around .500 before Lebron came into town and stole their soul leading to a rash of injuries (which is what happens when you have no soul, you know). And speaking of a rash of injuries, the Blazers have lost five players to knee injuries this year including Brandon Roy, who was a top 10 player in the NBA, and they're still above .500. SuitedAces21 2,722
i'll give you the blazers. sans injuries they would be up there. but the cavs? no sir. that was a trainwreck waiting to happen. i'd watched enough of their games when LeBron was there to know that team has absolutely no talent on it. side-show-bob getting hurt has made them historically bad, but they were gunning for the worst record even with him.i'll forgive your pick of cousins as ROY as well becuase you admitted to not having seen the Gryffinator play in college. Cousins is really good though.

Skeleton Jelly 2
4. Carmelo Anthony will both sign an extension and be traded in season.Woot.3. Lebron wins 3rd consecutive MVP while Bosh only averages about 15 ppg.Still have a shot at this one, although Bosh is at 18 ppg. But that's still 6 points less than last year, so I'll count it as half a win.
