As you may or may not know, Otto has a disability (Autism). He has cope with it very well and imo has made great strides in his development. We (my wife and I) went through alot during his primary s

At the beginning of all of these revelations, Ford's allies and councillors tried to sit down with him privately, and urge him to look out for himself, to get help, and to come back stronger than ever

Heavy Rescue Squad 331. Beaten up, soaked, and with bellies full of smoke. Best job in the world.

Maybe it's warmer where I was, but no ice for me. Just literal rivers of water running down every street. Lol.

Thats good, cause its impossible to walk around here.

I noticed where I dropped off my son this morning (mid town) didnt seem to be as bad as we were either. Its probably a combination of being closer to the lake, and better maintenance in more high traffic areas. I'll assume you got lots of salt down there.

Had a wedding on Saturday, driving was nuts. I cant wait til this weekend, never been so happy to see a forecast of sun and 10 degrees. lol

I read something about the plowing contracts having been expired so they couldn't go full bore... but I guess some did. I didn't notice any salt, but apparently that was the main tool: http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/toronto/salt-trucks-clear-toronto-streets-during-ice-storm-1.4620685

The sidewalks were plowed, but slushy as **** around driveways and shit. Impassable for almost anyone with mobility issues. Somebody needs to find a solution to that.

Water was coming down St. Clair east towards Yonge very quickly. A mini river. Wonder if the catch basis "upstream" were blocked.

Luckily, on Thursday I happened to have brought my snow boots home from work, so I was able to wear them and stay nice and dry.

But yeah, no ice around here, that I saw. It was like +2 and pouring rain when I left the house/got to work. Shortly after 10ish.

I just off the phone with a guy who is looking for an Accountant. He asked me if his legal fees were deductible. I asked him what was it for? He said it was for criminal charges. I told him no. He than freaks out saying how come they are not deductible? His friend told him they were and on & on.

Making plans for next week, I just realized that on Wednesday April 25th, we may have:

Game 7, Leafs at Bruins

Game 5, Wizards at Raptors

Game 2 of 2nd leg of Concacaf Champions League, TFC at Guadalajara

oh and Jays home to the Red Sox

Holy crap!

Well it's official guys, store is sold and I will be unemployed for the first time ever in my life.

27 years of scooping will come to an end next month. My plan is simple enjoy the next 6 months to the fullest than decide on my 2nd career/job.

At 42 I realized, I've spent way too much time working first half of my life, if I am lucky enough to hit 80 I will do the exact opposite for the second half of my life.

Is it just me or is duct cleaning telemarketing calls getting out of hand in this city?

I don’t recall getting any telemarketing calls in Toronto.

Are you still on a landline?
