You can show him the trade I made and all laugh. It'll be great.

He doesnt have a clue what a Burns is, let alone what a 1st rounder is.

He just likes Guinness and whiskey. Like, everyone should.

(Zach, its my buddy Rob who you met in Vegas like 5yrs ago. Who you probably dont recall at all. lol)

Hmm, I bet if you reminded me I'd remember. That was mostly my pre-blackout days. I could drink infinity beers and not blackout. Now it's like 5.

He's not Armen, I met him a bunch. Rob sounds vaguely familiar.

Not a whine, I swear. I have had good luck at other places, so I cant complain.
BUT, I noticed this and thought it was funny to note, curious to see how this plays out this year, especially since he is a resignable player for me

Dadonov
AHL GP-4 G0 A0 PTS=0
non-AHL GP-5 G4 A5 PTS=9

in fact, this may even be 'good luck' when I resign him, if these continue and it doesnt cost me wins. 2G on the bench last night, didnt matter.

Calling up Brandon Montour.

Not sure I have ever called up a farm player in mid season, but he's too good to not be playing on my team.
And while I like my chances for playoffs, I have to try as hard as possible to get that bye in the first round.

I hate how well he did in his first few games though, its gonna cost me on the resign.

Oh, and for anyone wondering, no he isnt "Aho" rule eligible, because he played 27 games last year, 2!!!!! over the limit. So instead of $1.50 for 3yrs, I might have to pay him $2.50/$3.50 next year alone, with increases every year after. Damn Anaheim!

I should have never said a thing about Mete, Im such a jinx to myself sometimes. Being humble is always best!

I feel sick to my stomach. I hate trading with Jay, I always lose these trades. Just how great are these 2 going to be? And is Tyler Johnson for real????

good read from Jay in AHL thread re:trade

Yeah that was such a 50/50 deal for me. I really didn't care if we made it or not, as I believe both sides provide tremendous value. You can say what you want about Johnson, but at $0.75 for 3 years, I really believe he's the best contract in the AHL.

Ribeiro is pretty much 35, but is still going strong and has a very manageable contract. But his time is running out. Plus I have Fisher from Nashville who's been playing well lately which made it easier to do.

I dunno, I like my chances to win the West for the next 5 years at least with a team of Tatar, Pastrnak, Strome, Fabbri, Ehlers, and oh yeah, Tarasenko. The future is bright.

I made the deal in an effort to make my team better to try to win back to back. I had Nyqvist, so Tatar was not a factor, and Pastrnak had not come into his own yet that year. I had to go for it that year, I thought I had a really good shot at back to back, and I think I lost in game 7 to Bob in semis? not sure.

Anyway, such a blast to look at old deals, and see the comments.
