What did Orpik do? I don't recall.

imho Neil starts to loose his edge a tiny bit before the hit (not that Orpik would have seen it). Don't expect anything to come of it -- but the irony of the situation (ie: if the positions had been reversed) i'm sure people would have been up in arms about it.

hmm, I could go either way on it... I think it's either nothing or a 2 min boarding penalty.

fin.

As an unbiased opinion, I thought Orpik meant to hurt since he knew Neil was falling down.

Right away when he hit the boards I thought dislocated shoulder (don't know the results). He looked fine walking down the tunnel however.
Owe $15 Dale - Won $10 more regular season games played (Dale - Lombardi, Me - Connolly)
Owe $20 Steve
Win $20 Bob - AHL Quarters
Win $20 Adam

Bet $20 Bob - AHL Season and $10 head to head (Bob 3 - Wayne 2) - unsure

I think I feel sorry for him. I guess at least there were a lot of wins and playoff games. Imagine being a fan of the Cleveland Browns and having this memory.

If winning were the only thing true fans cared about then teams like the Chicago Cubs, the Toronto Maple Leafs and, I guess, the Cleveland Browns wouldn't be as popular.

The last Stanley Cup won by a Canadian team was 20 years ago. Canadians still seem to enjoy the playoffs.

I wouldn't feel sorry for him. He obviously enjoys it and it doesn't seem to be having a negative impact on his life.

Also, I think there needs to be a significant amount of good in order for heartbreak to be possible.

My twitter feed is exploding with complaints about the refs in the Det/Chi game. As I saw it once: do they change the size of the strike zone in the world series? So why the insistence on putting the whistles away and "letting the players decide".

Didn't watch much of the game but the disallowed goal was pretty bad imo. By the rule it was the right call but it was still pretty weak. I don't have any rooting interest but I hated seeing the ref make that call there.
