I'm definitely fine with this. Well played. Obviously an awful flop for our QQ to win UI on, so betting 4-ways sucks, but we do have odds for the gutter, and maybe MP2 is full of shit, as he's just betting in position sometimes here with like TT or something dumb, so we have the odds to draw, and some small portion of the time we're ahead, and mp2 will give up on the turn, or whatever.

I like the line we took But could we check raise the flop to maybe limit the hands in play?We would not be able to get a free card on the turn because we are in the SB(EP) but it may get UTG+1 or UTG+2 to fold on the flop.

What exactly would the point of this be? What the heck do you think UTG+1 or UTG+2 would be folding on the flop?

Small pairs under Ten , A weak ace or king, and some suited and/or connectors.

Small pairs under Ten
You want these hands to fold?
A weak ace
0% chance any ace folds.
or king
The only semi-logical thing you've said, except I expect some kings to come along until we are forced to put more money in on the turn.
and some suited and/or connectors.
Hearts aren't folding, and if they don't have hearts, you're putting in a raise here when we're so clearly behind so often so that you can have someone behind us fold 7 high?

Thanks you gave me alot to think about. I was just going to try and limit the field. Looks like I need to think more into the hands. Thanks again

Just think about why you would want certain hands to make a certain play. You should think this way about every action you make. When we bet, consider why we are betting. We bet because we want a worse hand to call, or better hand to fold. You need to have a concrete idea of what will happen when you do decide to bet in order to make it the right play, likewise, a good reason to make a bet.Think about why you would want to limit the field, and stuff like that, and get into the right mindset for poker, and remember, it's about winning the most money, not the most pots.
