  1. Hi everyone, as the title of the post suggests I'm running into problems in middle stages of tournaments. First hour I'm usually ok I can double or triple up with little to no problem. The 2nd and 3rd hour I run into major problems. Blinds catch up to me, a few flops don't go my way and before I know it my M is below 10 and its shove time. I think the major problem for me is that I don't expand my starting requirements which are fairly tight. I play AA, KK, AK, AQ, JJ and 10s, 9s, anywhere. anyother pair I like to try to see a cheap flop or raise from late position setting up possible bl
  2. Actuary, I don't mean to sound like a noob here but can you explain what you mean about stack size. I took your comment to mean that larger stacks may call with weak aces hopeing to crack a big pocket pair or is it the opposite way around?   3. Thanks for the feedback everyone. I usually play low stakes, and some (buyins below $10). I'm trying to learn how to build and manage a bankroll and move up slowly without laying out a ton of my own money. Perhaps that might explain some of the bad play I'm running into.   4. Hi everyone, first time posting here, hopefully this post is in the right section and is not already covered elsewhere. I am wondering if its feasible to play every ace. I've seen quite a few people do this online and its burned me big a few times. What struck my curiousity is that I've had Queens and Kings run down today in tournaments by people calling my huge raises with Ace rag or ace middle off suit.
