  1. Daniel, how can you even put this on your websight? Josh played awful cards the whole wsop 2004 and won with them! he also has great erads. Ex: when Murphy got a full house on the river and went all in, josh had a K hi flush at the same time he was chasing. he new he was beat and layed it down. Great read. Now look at raymer. How many times did he outdraw his opponent? how amny times did he put a bad beat on some1, or won races. it seemd like he was untouchable on races. the only time i can think he had a bad beat was at the final table when he already had so many chips. i think it was against
  2. How about david williams? finishes 2nd at the wsop in 2004 and 2nd to daniel on the wpt. hes already made over 4 million in 1 year. not bad for a 23 yr old.
  3. and the list is highly suspect as well. even though they are HIS favorites and everyone is entitled to their opinion. it just seems that this list is based off of some limited televised poker viewing. i mean, where is john juanda? he's one of the best tournament players around.and phil gordon? i mean come on. you might as well have put sam grizzle on your list as well.We have some haters up in here. This is his list of FAVORITE PLAYERS. Not a list of Best players. I have to say i like his list except for gorden. And so what it wasnt interesting, u could have kept your comments to yourself
  4. I have to agree with these two. What a win. Congrats on all the money being all time leader and all that. I have to say it would be nice to win all those tournaments like you. If you read this topic, could you tell us any secrets that wouldnt give away your game. I know that sounds weird or something, telling a secret but not giving away your game, but if there is anyway you could share to us how you do it, I would be a very happy fan
  5. I would have put him all in because the only two hands your worried of are k/k or a/a. if he doesnt have either of the hands most likely u win. usually u would think he probably had a/k or k/q suited. i would have played it different
  6. Thanks for your advice. If im ever in a simaler situation ill remember that info
  7. he gave off no information at all. i had no idea that hed have pocket kings because hes suck an aggressive player. i thot he probably had a pair of kings but no way i thot hed have the set.
  8. Ok, Im having a poker party at my house ok. there was 21 people and the buy in was $25. We had 2 tables and when someone got knocked out, the people who wernt playing goes in. So i do good and get to the final 2. I'm way ahead in the chips. The other guy gets a few pots and were about even. Blinds are decent size, i say decent cause blinds dont matter to much here, I get pocket queens. great hand heads up. im on the botton so i raise 1/10 of my stack. He reraised me about 1/2 of my stack. so i just call. flop comes K Q 3, it was a rainbow flop. i got the set. so I check it to suck more chips f
  9. If he was playing tight you should have tested him. Maybe reraise his small bet. Tha if he reraised you u no something was up. You might have considered he had a pocket pair? maybe he floped the full house. but thats all you can do really
  10. I wasnt playing cash gmae so its not a whole lot worse. Heres why it is worse tho. I have bullets. raise b4 flop. flop come Q,4,2. thinking i have the best hand i bet. the guy raises me. I reraise, he goes all in. I call since the flop was rainbow. He had A/Q. so he had top pair queens and i had pocket aces. next card 8. the only way he can win was with a Q, and what do u know, 3 queens beats pocket aces. This was a big play money tournament with a lot of people and a lot of play money.
  11. There are a lot of people trying to act like pros. But u gotta think of it this way. This is like a big time sport. In baseball all the pros wear batting gloves and get frusterated when they strike out, they wear sweat bands and all that, well guess what the litle kids will do the same things as their basebal heroes. Thats what poker plers do. they see their favorite player and do everything he does. the fact is since a lot of pros wear all the shades and hats, the amatures will too. very funny post tho, i liked it
  12. I think theres no way at all you can loan him the money. Have you seen him in person and know that he truely needs the money. He has to think ur a sucker. You have no way of absolutely knowing that he will pay you back. If you give him the money he will just go gambling with it. And what if he loses. Hell ask u or someone else for another 100 dollars. Your not helping his gambling problem, your hurting it. I too have a soft spot for people in a bind, but you need to know when and when not to lend money. You should have had an aggreement. For example, you give him money for the sitngo and you w
  13. This couldnt be put any better at all. People like Mike Matusaw who always get mad over anything and talk trash at the table never get peoples respect, but they do get time on the air so everyone can see how much of a fool he makes of himself. I saw Gavin Griffin when he won the bracelet. He earned my respect right away. He never said anything negative or talked trash, just got the job done. If you just heard how he played, you would never guess his age.
