  1. Actually you are wrong... I did ask the casino about this... and they said that I am playing the pocket pair ( in my hand ) not the 3 on the board.At first I was worried that it would be the other way also.... very good comment.
  2. In a nutshell the pot broke down like this :Bad beat = 50% ( 8,000 dollars )Winner = 25% ( 4, 000 dollars )The remaining 25% is split up between everyone else who was dealtin the hand. ( @ 500.00 a piece ).Its a progressive pot, and it happened to be 16,000 today. I've seen some upwards of 50,000 dollars. I haven't hit any of those ...... yet 8)

  4. I was at my local casino playing Hold Em, and the bad beat jackpot was $16,000. ( You haveto lose when you have Aces Full of anything to get 50% of the jackpot.) I had pocket 3's, the flop comes A A 3. So, I'm slow playing my boat, then the turn comes a 2 ( No big deal ). I start betting on the turn, and two other guys are STILL calling me. Now for the river... ANOTHER Ace.So, my 3's full of Aces goes turns into Aces full of 3's. I start betting big now, and BOTH remaining players call me. Turns out one guy has 4 Aces... so that makes me the BAD BEAT!! Right??WRONG. The 3rd guy had poc
