Sobriety is for losers, mista Chris...Heading to the desert... Well, I have to attend a rodeo this evening first. I love flying at night on the fourth. Been doin it for years now. Now that the kid can captain I can really bear down on the suds. Jack n cokes is the main course, of courseSally, last weekend at the lake the kid and his buddies stayed in tents. Due to the heat I brought along a window a/c unit and some dryer vent flex pipe. Yeah, you can figure out the rest. Hope it give ya an idea or twoGoodbye oppressive heat.... hmm, supposed to be low to mid eighties where I'm going next week, so I don't think I'll need that, but I like where you're head is at. how bout this for a problem. we're going to a fairly large lake. people water ski on it and what not. we don't have a boat, but I'm taking my canoe. GO.I actually am thinking about getting a float of some sort from walmart and just floating around on the lake all day. there's this island about 2 to 3 hundred yards across the lake from where we usually camp. might try to float there on a pool float. see what the game warden has to say about that one.

hahaoh my sweet sugar snap pea eating god it's going to be so freaking hot today. it was so freaking hot yesterday. and many days before that. and for many days to come. I would complain even more than this but it seems like even the few times it's rained in the past week still hasn't managed to reincarnate the grass, so I should be able to avoid cutting it for quite some time. although maybe if I get out and cut it this saturday when the temp is over 100 I'll kill it all for good and I'll never have to cut it again... decisions.

Hey, you guys do what you gotta do.Did you see that fireworks show in San Diego where all of their fireworks went off at once? 18 minutes compressed to 15 seconds. That was a thing that happened. Honestly, if I was at that show and even if I had been waiting a long time, I think I'd rather see something like that.

Somebody on reddit made that point and I agree completely. I've been to so many fireworks shows that I couldn't tell you one from another and I feel like firework technology hasn't really changed in the past 20(maybe more?) years. But a show where they all went off at once? That's shit I'd tell my kids and grandkids(lol @ me procreating) every single fourth of July whether they want to hear it or not.
