  1. Thanks to all that played tonight. My best finish of the year.Merry Christmas and have a great New Year to all.
  2. Who did manage to bust DN and claim the $114???
  3. For those hesitant to jump into the bonus transfer, I think I guessed correctly and mine seems to be set up the way I wanted. So have at it.The only question I have is why display the Current Bonus Points Total?? The only number I care about is what is still needed to clear my current bonus. Will these count for anything later (hint)??
  4. The new bonus sounds fine to me. As a low limit player it should be better. One point I didn't see covered in the explanation is what happens to bonus dollars you have cleared, but not transferred to your real money account. Anyone that played last night could have some. I hope it is not left in the cashier account where you have to transfer it, and effectively clear it again. Will they automatically move it to real money for you, or is that option still available??
  5. Last year some posts on the forum talked about a $41 free chip for blackjack play that some wanted to use to start a bankroll. The chip is offered by ConnectoCasino.com which offers a bunch of other games and slots. I let my wife see the slots (mistake), and she talked me into putting $50 on the site via Neteller. With their bonus, this gave her $800 for slot play. She's now down to $150 but with her play and winnings, it is supposedly available to withdraw. Now after two weeks, numerous emails and phone calls to their support system, I have no contact, no acknowledgement, no money, no nothin'
  6. The only time I've had dealers count the pot is if an award is being offered if the pot reaches a minimum amount. Playing $3/$6 and you get a ticket to a $100 drawing if the pot is over $20. If it's obvious, them say nothing. Just count the ones that are close after the rake.
  7. more from pokerpages as of 11:19 Vegas timeDaniel Negreanu has build his stack to 75K and George Bronstein is right at 45K. Don Mullis is chipleader at around 82K.
  8. This is from pokerpages. Good for a chuckle.Frank Kassela will not be making his fifth final table here, he is gone after back to back "close but no cigars" and Mr. Matusow has 55K. There appears to be a song rising from several of the tables, sounds like the Mickey Mouse song but what? yes! its M-I-K-E-Y Mouse.

  10. I've played $5-$10 SNG's at Pacific, Powerplayer, Noble, and now FCP. I found the ones at Pacific to be the easiest to cash. Their structure is lousy with only $800 in starting chips, but it's a good place to win a buck or two.
  11. What is the "2 card Manila Chanpionship" on 1/18??Never heard of the game.

  13. Hey Mods - Can we get rid of the Poker Mountain posts that have been stuck in the Online forum forever?? Hardly an important things, but it bugs me that they are still around. Just a little housekeeping.Thanks.
  14. Good job with your start. No reason you cant start to move up in levels a little, but be sure you understand good bankroll management. So far my guess is you have not seen much in the way of variance swings. They will come, but expect them and dont panic when things are going bad. The usual measure to track is the number of big bets per 100 hands. Something in the range of 2-3 bb/100 hands is good and maintainable. Anything higher is probably positive variance and will be tough to maintain.Good luck.
