Please use the comments to demonstrate your own ignorance, unfamiliarity with empirical data and lack of respect for scientific knowledge. Be sure to create straw men and argue against things I have neither said nor implied. If you could repeat previously discredited memes or steer the conversation into irrelevant, off topic discussions, it would be appreciated. Lastly, kindly forgo all civility in your discourse . . . you are, after all, anonymous.

I'm changing my predictions for the west. I'm picking the Wild to beat the Hawks and the Ducks and lose to the caps in the finals.

haha, nah. Just been doing some reading and I'm feeling better about the Wild's chances, and I always like to pick with my heart whenever it is close :)

My first crack I had Wash over Chicago. I hated the obvious pick. So I switched to Minny.
but I think St.Louis may upset Minnesota. lol

This is the most parity filled NHL playoffs I can recall in a long time. I want to bet the underdog in every series.

Haven't really put in a ton of time with predictions this year. Filled out a bracket for work, but mostly did it as the opposite of my AHL team. Lol.

Let's try it.

Caps in 5
Pens in 6
Rangers in 6
Bruins in 6

Hawks in 7
Wild in 7
Ducks in 6
Oilers in 7

Caps over Pens in 6
Bruins over Rangers in 7
Wild over Hawks in 6
Oilers over Ducks in 7

Caps over Bruins in 6
Wild over Oilers in 7

Wild over Caps in 7

This is so random.

I couldnt have been more wrong.
only got 2/8, had most series going 6/7games, was generally off on all of it. doubt ill get any better, so you should all be betting for real using my picks to play against.

NYR over OTT in 6
WAS over PITT in 7

NASH over STL in 6
ANA over EDM in 5

I dont think Anaheim is all that great, but I keep getting stumped by them, so maybe Im just missing something. Cheering on Oilers at this point.
I'm really amazed at most of the teams left, and how they have these obvious holes in their lineups. Parity is funny.

I am optimistic given the way they barely handled the Leafs, but why're still a 118-point 1st place team. I hope for 5 games, but really just want a win in any way. :-)

i truly think the leafs were a tougher matchup for Pitt than wash is. Sure, no letang, but Daley and Schultz are doing fine. And Malkin was just back from injury. This time, sid and Malkin are flying coming into this. Pens have one under the radar injury that may be significant but we will see. Kunitz will be back, Hagelin shortly.

I could see 5. The way Pitt dismantled the 108pt Jackets, 10pts more doesnt seem like that big a deal. Especially with the history of these franchises.

And I could see Wash winning too....I dont know.
