the main thing is they have money. its easier to have balls when u have money. for daniel, a million is not a big number. even for antonio. thats why i didnt respect antonios game at all. he has plenty of money but i saw him back down at the wrong times because it was about the money. he was not playing the game very well in the second season. i remember antonio when he used to play here in the small games. he was friends with a friend of mine who taught him a lot of techiques in the game. the only difference with antonio and my circle of friends is that antonio got fortunate to win 1.2 million at the right time and his act was marketable. antonio was a pee on over here. i personally never liked the guy. he's image oriented and when he bacame successful, he totally forgot about the people who helped him out. he's a real punk and his younger brother is worse.

No, it's just a huge chunk out of his playing bankroll. So much so that he would stop playing the big game.

You've never said what your experience and expertise is. All you have done is searched on the internet for HSP season 3, arrived at this forum and started running your mouth off about how:1) you are good enough to play on the HSP series2) you actually tried to get on HSP season 13) you know about the side bets made4) the best players in the world never fold high pairs5) somehow it is possible to get worse than even money on an allin bet.yes, if yur playing deepstack and u got to fold jj to an allin, yur playing the wrong game. You mean you would NEVER fold JJ preflop?
well, if i'm running mymouth, then why r u replying? u got nothing to offer. go back to yur little online game. NEVER is a big word. how about 95% of the time. is that acurate enough for you? and yes, in that spot against greenstein, i'll beat him in the pot. why? because barry is capable of making a move like that with any 2 cards. didnt u see him do that with jack ten against eli? or maybe u were playing yur high stakes 1/2 no limit online at the time. dude, yur one of those tight asses that when i have ace jack and u have ace king, and u dont hit yur hand, i take the pot from you. dont take ofense, yur just more scared to lose money than i am. thats why i dont fold pocket jacks and u do. dont lose sleep over it.

no, my life is great. i been doing what a lot of people want to do but cant. i play for a living. also, i'll have my big day too. i play too damn good not to. i just need a little luck at the right week. like the shooting star for instance coming up in feb. a few world class players told me that within the next few years, i'll hit big. so no, i wouldnt consider suicide. i got much to live for :club:

3) not anyone can just sit down.Yes they can. It was a game held in a casino, and as such you could have gone in there and played. Remember the Andy Beal HU match at $50k/$100k HE? Of course you do - you were probably asked to play by Doyle himself but you must have been busy with other ventures. Well, if someone came along with a large sum of money they could have sat straight down and started playing. HSP is no different.
not true man, it's not for sure that anyone can sit at HSP. the producers have say on who sits and who doesn't, I would bet there are people that wanted to play but weren't allowed on.

Let me attempt to grasp this, OP, you're a high limit player who is capable of playing with the best players in the world and considers himself to be a superior poker player to the likes of Phil Laak and Antonio Esfandiari yet you spend your entire evening bantering with low limit players on the FCP forums and trying to convince them that your way of playing the game is the right one. sorry im just not buying it.

???????? u talk like u know his personal life. how would u know what his limits are? and u ridicule people like myself because we dont have proof of what we say. u must be 15 years old or really stupid. probably both.

Haha you're pretty ignorant, or stupid. Or both. We know what his limits are because Daniel is nice enough to share his sessions with us in his blog, and post his results online. He also stated a few weeks ago that after losing a million and change in one session, a chunk of his playing roll was gone.

Daniel himself said that when he lost $1,000,000 in the big game, he lost a large part of his roll and wouldnt be playing in that game for a while. I think simo's source is pretty good.

yeah, hard to believe. see if i'm here tomorrow. i guess its impossible for high limit players to sit around bored at home and blog. yeah, yur right....it doesnt make sense at all. oh, and yeah, phil laak is such a scary player. abc poker is way too strong a game for me. believe me, laak and antonio would be trying to figure out how to trap me if i sat on that game with a million. they sure as hell would not be trying to figure a way to out move me. they would be reacting to my game and not the other way around. they only have big balls in tournaments where the chips dont mean anything. sit them in a cash game and theyre vaginas tighten up. i can play theyre tight game too but then they would respect me but not fear me. i dont need respect.

They let Bob Stupak play. Since no one on earth could be less photogenic and less understandable on TV, I would assume the producers didn't have a big say :)

no more replies. thats good. it shows that i won. thats why i win at poker because i can stomach tremendous abuse. u guys get rattled over a few words on a computer. i dont understand how most of u have the time to actually have hundreds and even thousands of replies. and the real funny thing about it is the ones who talk like they know the game. "pocket jacks in an automatic fold against an all in in a deepstack cash game". its so gay to get ridiculed from "by the book" players. my final advice to anyone here who is really interested in moving ahead in the poker world is to get off this site for starters. way too much negativity on here. its like some gay fraternity or something. what ever, goodluck

It's bizarre how some people actually read the content on web forums before they start posting their drivel... I think it's called common courtesy, but I'm not sure...
