It would really help our poker community (especially FCP) if someone had the balls to write a good poker related screenplay.

this makes me like phil even more.

I don't like to jump into anything to quick either. You gotta vet them for a couple years before you can trust them.

Daniel gave his 2 cents

Been reading up on poker news lately and the people running the Borgata high limit pit have to be incredibly stupid overall.

All high limit gamblers should be watching the Borgata case closely. How it's ruled will affect gamblers rights in the future.

My hat's off to any man who can get an edge on a big time casino. It's just straight baller and I have zero empathy for the big fish.

Daniel Negreanu ‏@RealKidPoker · Apr 18

Big fish sets all the rules, oks all the rules, they need to eat it when they get beat and not be whiny biatches about it.

It's appalling to freeroll customers. Take their money if they lose but don't pay when they win? Are you for real Borgata? That's dirty.

If I agree to give a guy a shot a hole on the golf course and agree to allow him a caddie, and I lose, I'm the only person I can blame.

Daniel Negreanu ‏@RealKidPoker · Apr 18

I've been hustled before, but the idea of not paying was never even a consideration! Borgata- you got hustled bad. Get over it already.

Daniel Negreanu ‏@RealKidPoker · Apr 18

Suing customers who crushed your souls is a bad look. You got bent over. Might as well smile and enjoy it. #Borgata

Daniel Negreanu ‏@RealKidPoker · Apr 18

Borgata, you thought Ivey was stupid and you tried to bury him. He hustled you, smoked you, and left you feeling silly. Stand responsible!

Daniel Negreanu ‏@RealKidPoker · Apr 18

No one in the world has empathy for Borgata in this. Stop playing victim because YOUR hustle wasn't as good as Ivey's

Look, you have to pick a scumbag team to root for, dawg. The Cheater Ivey and the deadbeat degenerate Lingrin are good, and the bitch Duke and the theif Lederer are bad

DN very clearly and very publicly admitted that when EDog steals money, that it is at the very least ethically dubious.

See,. it was bad that Russ Hamilton cheated, because that was from individuals. When corporations get cheated, it's all in the game. They aren't people. Except, you know, legally.

The reason what Hamilton did was a problem is that Ham is old and has no charisma.

“With his position as one of the faces of poker, I can’t believe this is what wants to put out there, market and advertise,” said Chad. “It’s a stain on poker. It’s not the image that you want to project on poker, not when we’re currently battling for legal online poker. Phil’s got to be above that.”

If online poker were legalized, not a ton changes for Phil. When it goes through, it's going to be a monopoly controlled by the brick and mortar casino people, Phil isn't getting any of that money this time. Not much is likely going to change in the amount of action Phil can get. And FTP made it pretty clear that Phil and everyone else are happy to play a multimillion dollar short con, and I find it hard to believe that the sponsorship money in poker is anything close to what Phil has been able to pick up by cheating over the years even if he weren't. Why the **** would it be in his interest to keep his nose clean? It's not, but it's sure in Norman Chad's interest, which is why televised poker has worked so tirelessly to pretend poker players aren't all cheats, addicts, criminals, scumbags and pedophiles. End of story. Ivey's working his hustle, Chad is working his.

Q: And who served these drinks? You said it was pretty young girls?

Ivey: Yes, at the Borgata. They have the prettiest waitresses in town.

Q: One of whom is a former girlfriend of mine.

Ivey: Is that right? Nice.

hahahaha.

From the link

"The judge did reiterate that Ivey did not break the rules of Baccarat or commit fraud, only that he had breached casino contract, something that split court opinion back in late October of 2016."

I'd love to see a signed copy of this so called casino contract.
