"DRONES have killed hundreds in Yemen in the past four years, some hitting AQAP targets, many more striking civilians.Aside from the moral and legal implications, analysts in Yemen and the U.S. question their effectiveness against terrorism.Take, for instance, a strike in Abyan province in December 2009 that killed 55. Among the dead were 14 women and 21 children. The U.S. refused to acknowledge the botched mission."-----"“Of the thousands of Ansar al Sharia now fighting in Abyan, the majority were not Al Qaeda; they were angered by what they saw as American aggression,” Iryani said. “One event that radicalized an entire (province).”"-----"On Oct. 14, U.S. drones pounded targets again, this time hundreds of kilometres away in the southeastern region of Azzan.Abdulrahman, also born in the U.S., and his 17-year-old cousin were among the seven killed. They were apparently having a barbecue. At first, media outlets reported that Abdulrahman was five years older than his actual age, had been militant like his father and, that a high-value Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) target was also among the dead. But his grandfather, Nasser al Awlaki, a Fulbright scholar, former agricultural minister and prominent figure in Yemen, said Abdulrahman had nothing to do with his father since he had gone into hiding in 2009...It later emerged, but was not widely reported, that the strike did not kill its purported target, AQAP’s media chief, Egyptian Ibrahim al Bana. "------is the US really a 'morally superior' country? Is the strategy of 'kill 'em all" really working? What role does the media play in this?http://www.thestar.c...n-teenager?bn=1
I don't need to be a global citizen because I'm blessed by nationality I'm member of a growing populace we enforce our popularity I feel sorry for the earth's population 'cuz so few live in the U.S.A. I'm not sure how anyone can object to using precision drones for bombing rather than wide scale death and destruction. The real question is whether we should be Bombing All The Brown People in the first place. Doing it more precisely seems like a good thing no matter which side of that argument you are on. The only possible case I can think against it is the moral hazard of encouraging decision-makers to get involved in more areas due to the lack of popular outrage over innocent victims and the belief that decision-makers can tell good guys from bad guys reliably.

You'd think the Middle East would respect us a bit more knowing that we can use unmanned robots to drop lethal and highly precise bombs on any location that we want and at any time.Right?

Why is Brown people always referenced. Are there countries of white people that has sworn death to all americans, and terrorizing civilians that I am unaware of?

1) This is an All-in thread, so no logic is allowed. You're only allowed to say negative things about brown people.2) I don't care if the middle east respects us. KILL MORE MUSLIMS!

I hope this ends soon. Many parks in and aruond Toronto are full of brown people having BBQ's when the weather gets good. Could be a bloodbath...

So now, less than five years later, you can go up on a steep hill in Las Vegas and look west, and with the right kind of eyes you can almost see the high-water mark, that place where the wave finally broke and rolled back." —Raoul Duke, Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas
