  1. Read Harrington on Hold'em Vol's I & II, No Limit Hold'em Theory & Practice by Sklansky & Miller, & Small Stakes Hold'em by Sklansky & Malmuth.
  2. Mike is the only guy I've seen that can make the final table of the main event at the WSOP and win the WSOP TOC and still complain about how "unlucky" he is.
  3. In my opinion your continuation bet was too big. I would have bet $7-8, then folded to his min raise. This may seem tight, but when someone makes a min raise it almost always means that have a strong hand, since he/she is practically begging you to call. An expert player might make this raise in a tough game as a bluff, but this is usually not the case at the lower limits. Additionally, you'll probably be facing a big bet on 4th and have another tough decision. Cut your losses now and get out.
  4. I don't even know where to begin. What does Daniel living in Las Vegas have to do with anything? Are you really saying that you cannot be a Christian and live in Las Vegas? As for other religions, native americans, etc..., Jesus makes Christianity unique. No other religious teacher claims to be God incarnate. Not Moses, not Muhammed, not Buddha, not Confucius, or Lao-Tzu, only Jesus. Jesus isn't one among many men who raised himself up to God, but the one and only God who lowered himself to us. Therefore, I am confident that God somehow gives everyone a chance to know Jesus. He loved u
  5. It amazes me that doucheclown continues to talk trash when he is getting his ass handed to him.
  6. Hope DN makes him rebuy when he gets him down to 5K.
  7. This guy has no chance against Daniel. DN has controlled the entire match.
  8. Dreamclown = Doucheclown when DN is done with him/them.
  9. You're bet on the flop is fine, but after he calls you have to put the brakes on. Without knowing anything about the player, you have to give him credit for an Ace, probably something like A-10. He would have to be a complete donk to call a pot size bet on the flop with a flush draw or second pair, but you never know. I would check the turn and hope the hand is checked through. If he makes any kind of substantial bet on the turn or river I would have to pass.
  10. Fold and wait for a better spot. You're a slight favorite at best.
  11. The blinds will be 75-150 on the next hand. I don't see how you don't push in. You have to take a stand at some point. His call pre-flop does look suspicious given his stack size, but if you run into AA or KK, thats poker.
  12. In the BB w/A-Q against 4 limpers you should definitely raise. Your hand is likely good at the moment. A raise to $2.50 or $3.00 probably would have won you the pot right there. By letting everyone in cheaply, you run the risk of someone beating you with junk. It's better to be the aggessor and take the lead with a hand that is almost certainly good at the moment.
  13. With the blinds at $100-$200 I think you have to push in with A-3. This hand is likely good 4 handed and if the BB has been calling everything he may call you with a hand that you can beat. If you run into a big hand, that's just bad luck.If an aggressive player keeps stelaing your blind you have to push back with hands like A-10 & K-J, especially if it is late in the tourney. If he happens to have a big hand when you make this play, that's poker. I don't like calling at this point. By calling, your giving your oppenent a chance to catch good on the flop with an inferior hand. It's be
  14. 3 WSOP bracelets, all time money winner on the WPT, 2004 WSOP Player of the Year. Yeah, he blows.
  15. Got to be the "This guy can't even spell poker", "This guy is trying to catch a flight" rant at 2005 WSOP. Classic Phil
