Pot limit Omahoe 8, a game my friend invented. It's a combination of Tahoe (exactly like Texas, only with 3 hole cards) and pot limit Omaha 8. The flop, turn, and river are just the same as with Omaha and Tahoe. You get four hole card just like Omaha, only, like Tahoe/Texas, you can play as many or as few hole cards as you need to give you the best 5-card hand.

I don't know.I'm not a preteen girl, so I don't watch Angel.What?! Believe me, there's plenty of blood, gore, violence and hot chicks (well, as much as you can get on TV) to keep any college guy happy. Plus the writing is much better than most of the crap on TV. 2/4 LHE at Paradise, no reads. There are three limpers, EP, MP, and the button when the SB raises. I call (and folded when I completely missed the flop), but for a second it crossed my mind that this might be a good situation to make an isolation re-raise: Does anyone think it might be a good move in this situation, and why or why not?

Actually, I was just playing 2/4 LHE at paradise, had K3o in the bb. Folded to MP player who raises, button calls all-in for his last 2.50 and SB folds, I fold (d'oh!). Flop comes KKK. Turn 5, river 2, MP wins with AJs vs. A8s. Stop-and-go in NLHE usually refers to all-in bets, in which you make a substantial raise/re-raise pre-flop (for example) with the intention of moving all-in regardless of what comes on the flop, as opposed to simply moving all-in pre-flop. At least that's what I've been led to believe, could be wrong.

Honestly, all he sees is the ace (the face-card kicker just sweetens it). I was involved in a pre-flop all-in, QQ vs. A8o, and after the hands were flipped over the player with A8o said "Good, I like that". In other words, he'd rather have his hand than mine. I guess, in his mind, he thought that as long as I don't have and ace with a better kicker, he's ahead. I hope that gives you a better idea of how these people 'think'.

The funny thing is I've seen two players colluding in a SNG and neither made the money (again, by 'seen' I mean in person, standing next to one of them as they were talking on the phone to the other). But I've also seen steriod users hit .212. Doesn't make it right. I don't know how much colluding there is online vs. live but I know it exists and I know a few people who get away with it on a regular basis. There is collusion online, I know this first hand (but don't ask me to name name's). In fact there are people who do this exclusively: you send them the buy-in money and they work with you and you split the winnings 50/50. Collusion is too easy to do online, and too hard to catch (but I do geniunely believe that most sites do their best to try to catch them).Saying there's no collusion online is like saying there's no steriod use in pro sports.If you want to catch these people you're going to have to do your part to point these people out the site.

Is the fulltilt the only site that has HORSE tourneys?

I guess different players have different rationales, but for example the BB situation, when you only have to 150 more and you're already in for 300, I'd call with almost anything there. The small stack is basically doubling up any way. Like I said, at this point the short stack is desperate to double-up, so chances are you're not a huge underdog if at all. The other points might be debatable depending on the specifics of the situation, but I think the overall advantage of eliminating another player far outway the advantages of protecting a few chips, especially if you're the big stack.And
