Clearly, I need to cross-reference this stuff before posting. Thanks for the come-uppance. Let's keep in mind, also, that the page you refer to is a couple of years old, so we may actually have another player or two up there.

This happened in the baseball trivia section. The question you posed was something like 20 game winners for last place teams.

Mercury69 3
You have a short memory. This happened in the baseball trivia section. The question you posed was something like 20 game winners for last place teams.Maybe so, but how many fucking reference pages am I going to need to research before a question is correct? Goddamn internet. Besides, that was 2 months ago, which is a very long time on the internets...Anyway, I re-looked at the question and while it was, perhaps, slightly misworded (should have said "worst team in league" not "last place", I was not incorrect. Niekro was not on the worst team in the league when he won 20 that year, just on the worst team in his division. So boo on you :-)Additionally, I was correct about one of the pitchers having his only 20 win season under those circumstances: Ned Garver.Niekro won 20 or more 3 times and Lefty did it 6 times.Without looking it up I was going to guess Jason Kidd and Oscar Robertson. Or Magic Johnson.(edit) BOOM! lolAll three. Plus Wilt and some dude named Fat Lever.

I initially guessed 1 and confirmed it on google. 3 was easy, but wasn't sure if I should lump a whole lot of other players in there too.
Mercury69 3
People should admit to the Googling up front, imo. Not pointing anyone out in particular, but everyone is a fckn genius with Google et al available. Might as well just make two answers: one gut guess and one Google guess
