James yea you've got enough $ definitely to stay at 25nl. You should try the deep tables nitring. Regs are very nitty and straightforward. Excepting that bluff I posted earlier, where the dude flips up the nut flush and trip tens, they actually seem capable of folding hands. Those that aren't, who cannot fold one pair, rate to pay you off in a big way. I've seen a lot of regs 3-bet oop w/the same range that they'd 3-bet when 100bbs deep - so bad. Against fish, obviously you're thrilled. When I'm at a normal 25nl table, and I run up to like $44 and have position on the deep fish, I'm always hesitant to leave. At a deep table, 2-4 of your opponents are these guys...

Yeah...Robert Williamson is not doing a particularly good job in this series. His reasoning isn't always terrible, but almost every hand, he predicts the complete opposite of what happens. "Well, he's never folding here....wow...he folds!" "Well, he's never calling here...wow...he calls!" "Well, he's never raising here...wow...he raises!"

I find myself calling in these spots all the time, but I'm beginning to wonder if it's a leak.I mean, on the river, all we can beat is a bluff and KQ. I don't think he has many bluffs other than QT, and he might not even value bet a hand like KQ. But he does have all the combos of JT+, and possibly 66.Him having KK is more of an anomaly, and I would be more worried that his overall value range far outweighs his bluff range on the river.

but then how would we know if they haz it??excellent points, tho for realThis villain was 44/4 over 50 hands with a 2.9AF so I think my call is alright in this spot but I plan to keep an eye on this spot vs some tighter ranges and maybe make some folds when I think I'm bluff catching and they don't have many bluffs

Just reviewing some earlier sessions, and I found this hand. I more I think about it, the more I really hate my check on the river. Obviously, I was planning on check/calling, but now I think that even though it's thin, there's still more value to be had by betting.Posted ImageFeral Cow Poker Hand ConverterPokerStars No-Limit Hold'em $0.10/$0.25 - 6 playersUTG: $16.69 UTG+1: $5.26 CO: $29.06 Button: $60.08 SB: $53.00 (Hero)BB: $28.22 Preflop: ($0.35) Hero is SB with :4h :club: (6 players)2 folds, CO raises to $0.75, Button calls $0.75, Hero raises to $3, 2 folds, Button calls $2.25Flop: ($7.00) :ts :jh :3h (2 players)Hero checks, Button checksTurn: ($7.00) :qh (2 players)Hero bets $3.50, Button calls $3.50River: ($14.00) :5c (2 players)Hero checks, Button checks

Pot control. Not sure if this is a leak, but I don't think it's necessary to try and build a huge pot 200bbs deep OOP with one pair, even if it is AA. I just figured all the likely hands that could raise me either have me crushed or are doing okay equity wise against me.I don't think betting is terrible though.

Yeah, I didn't notice the stack sizes when I asked. It's typically an auto c-bet for me, but deep oop I like pot controlling. Sucks if we're vs someone good who can put us in a tough spot by barreling, but if we suspect that is the case, we just click call 3times... I mean, we haz AA

call preflop and defend squeeze with KJo... wow. I can't expertly hand read when they play so bad ;)Also, what kind of note do you make after a hand like this? Mine would look like:4/5/11 25nl 6max:KJo call btn vs co, defend squeezecheck back QJ7tt, call turn 1/2 psb, check back riverLike I typically hate the way I take notes bc it is long and not that informativePerhaps it should be like:KJo, call squeeze IPpot control/showdown vs missed cbet, turn stab???
