Ten rebuy on stars, no real read on villain, just got moved to the table (and doubled up my short stack with KK). Ok so on the flop my thinking is that I can usually take it down here with a donk bet, it's cheap and anyways I have outs if I'm called. On the turn I honestly misread the board and thought I made my straight (though really I just improved my draw). On the river I was about to push, then reevaluated and realised that I had J high and am a donkey. Do I still push here? it looks like a busted draw to me, but he could also have turned a 10 to go with the draw...i think if you feel he is bad enough to call you down with just a 10, then you should give up, but otherwise i think the bluff has a fair chance of working

Looks like a reasonable spot to push Villain off a marginally better hand like A high. Instead of pushing in ~9k, I might bet neighborhood of 6k to make it look like a value bet and still get the hands that were going to fold, to fold. I'm not sure someone who is calling 6k wouldn't be calling a push, might as well save 3k if you can to comeback with.

I read his play as having a 7 for a busted straight draw, so I'd shove it all in on the river. If he slowwalked me, then gg him.

I agree this looks like a busted draw to me too, but it's really hard considering you know nothing about the villian...he could easily be a calling station willing to call down with AK. I still think in this situation the villian folds to a push enough to make it the profitable play.

Why risk going bust in an unraised pot with J9o and just a gutshot on the flop? I probably check the flop here. I know it's not help in this situation, but just my two cents there.For the river decision, I'm for Skittles action.
