  1. this seems statement seems to lack a fair bit of logic
  2. i don't ever see myself folding kk preflop in an online game ever really. when you rn into aa like that its just a cooler hand.....unless you hit that king
  3. its only a matter of time before technology catches up and it will be done. kinda scary really i play enough as it is imagine if i could just play anywhere, anytime. i'd have to carry around a couple spare batteries for the phone though
  4. lol at him saying he felt like a used condom lol.
  5. I personally have been slowly building my roll from like a 70 dollar deposit in september and gotten it up to around the 500 dollar mark just from playin in games i can afford and picking games where i know i'm a winning player. this is mainly because i don't have the money to keep putting more into my pokerstars account so instead of taking the risk of goin broke and not being able to play anymore due to lack of funds i've played inside my roll. Also i think continually playing at those limits and building my roll is helping me improve my game and grows my confidence in my abilities. Sometime
  6. hey guys thanks for the replys. i really felt i bet too low on the flop and then especially on turn as well. I did originally put him on the king on the flop so that probably explains my small reraise on the flop. Although i realised after the hand i didnt bet enough i didn't realise i should be betting quite so high on those streets as i'm still pretty raw a cash games as i spend a lot of my time playin tournaments.
  7. hey guys just looking for opinions on how i played this hand especially on the turn and river. thanksPokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.10 BB (8 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.comHero (CO) ($9.05)Button ($2.30)SB ($7.95)BB ($2)UTG ($10.80)UTG+1 ($2.30)MP1 ($10.05)MP2 ($9.60)Preflop: Hero is CO with , :qhUTG calls $0.10, 3 folds, Hero raises to $0.40, 1 fold, SB calls $0.35, 1 fold, UTG calls $0.30Flop: ($1.30) , , (3 players)SB checks, UTG bets $0.30, Hero raises to $1, 1 fold, UTG calls $0.70Turn: ($3.30) (2 players)UTG checks, Hero bets $1.80, UTG calls $1.80River: ($6.
  8. i think playing pot limit hold em can also be a good way to practice small ball as well
  9. sounds like you guys had a really good night. hope something like that happens again sometime soon so i can attend.
  10. i wish i would of checked these forums before i left college i just got back from the city and realised i should of stayed lol.
  11. Jacksons on George isn't a bad place to go for a few drinks. The three wise monkeys on George street is pretty good to. Their both a couple of my favourites. Kings Cross can be alright but better when your in a group of people it's a pretty seedy place to be by yourself at night time.
  12. hope your enjoying it here in sydney daniel it's a great place with lots to do. your story about oxford street was a pretty good laugh as i knew the twist as soon as i read the street name lol
  13. i think i would of called in this spot. it would be extremely hard to lay this hand down and the guy that ended up winning did play it like a monster hand and i think you could of put him on exactly pocket 10's in that spot the only full house with the six in it that i can put him on there is with a 6 and 10 in his hand because i could see him slowplaying that also.
  14. i got called a donk after winning this pot but i feel i was never forced to call a large enough bet to fold and getting pretty decent implied odds if i made my hand.
