Has anyone here actually read her book? You know she was talking about a very specific tiny group, correct? I KNOW you guys are open minded enough to not judge her based on CNN and Hillary Clinton, right? I mean, you guys certainly would have read her book before ripping on what was in her book, right?ps.... I haven't read her book and have no opinion of what she said, until I do.
I fully support your intentions and your general statement, but it's different with Anne Coultier. Most of us (I would assume those who have commented) have seen her speak on talk shows, read enough excerpts or heard her quotes enough to know what kind of person she is. If somehow I could read her books while ensuring that she doesn't get a penny from it, I may take a gander, but they would probably make me want to tear my hair out.

You know, one by one, we should take extreme right wing and extreme left wingers and put drop them in a volcano.Let's start with Ann Coulter and Michael Moore.
I agree that the extremes of both sides (or of any side for that matter) are the most dangerous parts of our society. But, even as a somewhat biased liberal, I would venture to say that Moore is much less horrific than Coulter.

This is a very biased statement, although in general I respect your opinions york... this is just dead wrong. The reason is, Coulter doesn't have a following or an army of idiots like Moore does... Moore is a straight up communist and has a large following of sheep.

I didn't say I don't like Moore.. I said he was a communist... I have seen every single one of his documentaries... I LOVEThe Big OneRoger & Me andBowling for ColumbineI don't just hate everyone I know to be a liberal... I'm much more open minded than that... I simply think that capitalism is what makes this country great and that communism is bad. That is why I think Michael Moore is more dangerous than Ann Coulter. But thanks for your well thought out response.ps... you have cute kids.

Just try to set her up on a blind date with Bill Clinton... she would definately wind up being mysteriously killed.

The C word definitely works for her but at this point I really am getting sick of the publishers and TV people who print her stuff and give her airtime - it's getting irresponsible - at least when Howard Stern puts on Daniel Carver the Klan guy you know its a jokeEven when Matt Lauer stands up to her what's the point really. It just shows how these news shows have become essentially carny entertainment actsNo one has any sense of responsibility anymoreI heard Charles Barkley mocking sports and other talk shows and he had a pretty amusing point how amazingly enough the two hosts on the show always have opposite opinions on every single issue! As for Moore at least I'd like to believe that he has some sympathy for the poor and less lucky in societyI'm not exactly sure who Coulter represents - spoiled blonde bitches? I guess everyone needs representation. Next on the Today show Adolf Hitler shares with us his wacky views on Semitism

Moore is hardly a communist. He understands the American form of commerce much better than most.

I haven't read her new one, though I imagine it's essentially the same unsourced, poorly written hatespeech as Slander, which I did read. There are literally dozens of websites that detail the grotesque numbers of blatant errors and exaggerations in that "book". Here, here, here.

although i always get irritated when people protest movies that they haven't even seen - sometimes the argument have you ever read his or her book rings coldAt some point they are so whacked out that you just know they aren't worth your 15 bucks even to dispute, which is why the internet is so cool - others hopefully do it well for youYou know - like if Rosanne wrote a diet book - I'm thinking I could blow off reading that without losing much sleep

And doesn't like it at all. I don't think he's a commie, but I do think he would support a big socialist-swing. I mean heck, I understand communism really well, doesn't mean I'm not a capitalist.

Okay, as a fairly open atheist liberal...it goes without saying that I dislike Ann Coulter with the passion of many burning suns. But, I just refuse to acknowledge her existence anymore. She doesn't say anything remotely intelligent, no matter what she would have you believe. She's great at working people up in a frenzy, which I guess can sell you a ton of books and make her very rich. But, her broad, largely false, generalizations of liberalism, Democrats, or anybody left of Hitler is laughable at best. Compare our lefty-crazies to Coulter all you want...but we don't have anyone nearly as psychotic and blantantly inflammatory on our side of things.

actually i'm pretty liberal but i have to say I fear the left wing nuts a little more - they are more into devious slurring of people's names and governmental abuse of power which sucks but isn't as dangerous as the left winger who Tim McVeigh aside are much more likely to plant a pipe bomb somewhere that you are shoppingeither way as Chris Rock says if you've made up your mind before you hear what the issue is your part of the problem
