  1. Perhaps they could offer a discount for FCP members and/or if we have a membership for other training sites. None of us are canceling those, so pvt needs to convince of to join their site as well.
  2. Just on that radio show an hour ago, Daniel said $29/month + a signup fee. Which is in line with CR, LP, DC, etc.
  3. Other than a few hands quizes Daniel did not really say how it would be different from Cardrunners. $30 a month is even more and is at Leggos price range. Hopefully they have a 7-day trial when they launch so everyone with is a member of one of the older training sites, can see if we need this one too.
  4. I appreciate some opinions on those 2 razz books. I have been curious, I look forward to reading both. Super System 1 also has a Razz section, and some interesting probability charts in the Appendix. The 2+2 Magazine has had a good Razz article each of the last couple months. I highly recommend them. http://www.twoplustwo.com/magazine/current/
  5. This 4th promotion was amazing. Do you think they will be able to extend the chance for FCP players to earn Silver & Gold status in the following months for discounted VPP?
  6. Can you get them larger than $100 somewhere? I want to deposit $700 in FTP. That is a $35 fee for ePassporte, f that.
  7. I have had a Comcast DVR since the beginning of the year. Whenever I try to record Poker After Dark, it records for 350 minutes or more instead of 60 minutes. Anyone else have any similar issues? Almost every night I DVR stuff on History and Science Channel without issue. Nothing else has had a problem, but Poker After Dark consistently messes up. Since I usually have my DVR in the 70% ranges, I can't afford to have it record 6 or more hours instead of one.
  8. Thanks Bob. I was just about to post asking if we can get the new Deposit Bonus with the money FCP is moving over for us. That is great, although the $50 cap is pretty sorry.
  9. According to NBC, Poker After Dark - Season 2 starts on June 11th.It will have 10 new tables/weeks of players. I am glad it is back, my 2nd favorite poker show.http://www.nbcsports.com/poker/1413295/detail.html
  10. Air dates have not been released. The biggest change from the broadcast last year is the $50,000 H.O.R.S.E event will be given star-like treatment. It will be filmed in its entirety and six one-hour shows will be dedicated to the most expensive tournament of the series. The main event will see 16 hours of TV coverage.http://www.cardplayer.com/poker_news/article/8665
  11. Let me go into more detail. I thought Small Stakes Holdem (Limit) was boring and did not find much to add to my game. Now previous to this I had read Holdem Poker for Advanced Players, another limit book by Skalansky. Even much of the stuff in SSHE was very close to first Harrington on Holdem which I read previously also. Even though that is tournaments, game & plays are same just different application. Most important thing I should have mentioned was I never play limit cash games, only No limit cash, sometimes pot.If you are looking for No Limit, I would really look for a NL book. I
  12. I am so thrilled they are showing all the games in HORSE this year. Last year's coverage of the most important WSOP event was a joke. 6 hours will be a vast improvement.
  13. The Small Stakes book you bought was pretty weak and redundant. It is a limit book.If the other you are referring to is No Limit Holdem: Theory & Practice, it is brilliant. But it is for the advanced player. It's a tough read, but a great book.
  14. "The Little Black Book" is simply a fancy edition of Gordon's "Poker: The Real Deal" plus what it calls, "Bonus Material."
