  1. From a legal perspective, it is probable that the agreement between TJ and Fargo was 'frustrated' by VT's buyout. This actually allows Fargo to rescind the agreement, so TJ would have to give him the full $100 back. This hinges on whether VT's buyout was unforeseen and uncontrollable - it must have been beyond the contemplation of the parties at the time the agreement was entered into to be applicable. Anyway whatever I think what happened is the fairest result. Also thank god I will no longer be a lawyer after August 21 weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  2. Yo fluff I can see you are really unhappy with what is happening. All things considered I rate you and Jordan as the guys from this forum who impress me the most. You are both good players, very positive and level headed. And Jordan seem pissed about it all too.I have never posted much but have always enjoyed reading this forum. There seems to be a fairly repetitive pattern whereby truly exceptional players leave and a whole bunch of recreational players who weren't here to learn say so ****ing what. And a bunch of guys who were here to learn think to themsleves damn that really sux.But I don'
  3. Tre I will do a bet with you. Kind of hard as you obv don't know me so I am trying to think how we could do it. I am 260 at the moment and will be in vegas at some point in June (I will be in the c-thread house the last week in June).ummm I could escrow? I am dave798111 on stars so I guess you could look me up on TR and OPR to see I wouldn't bother scamming you for a relatively minor amount? I trust you obv.I am open to any type of bet but unlike Troyo I would prefer it to hurt if I lose as for me that would be the whole point. Need to defeat the inertia! Anyway lmk what you think.
  4. Cool I guess I am taking that room from the 19th onwards (pending Mark's confirmation).Gary I hope you are an attractive man
  5. Hi guys would appreciate any input on this hand.It is v Nanonoko who is the biggest winner at Stars 2/4. PLays 24 tables but is creative.History - I play pretty straightforward vs him - really try to avoid him tbh. A few minutes ago on a different table where we were both deep he checkraised turn with a turned flush draw in a pretty small pot and missed then checked down river. I had TPTK I believe.Thoughts on all streets appreciated. PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $4.00 BB (6 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.comHero (Button) ($1427.90)SB ($400)BB ($501.70)UTG ($414.50)MP
  6. sweet does he have a stars account**I did not understand the initial reference at all.
  7. yopoker sux. Sundays suck. Tournaments suck. One of more of you degens pls flip me. I will flip any amount up to $600 and as low as $10 or whatever. Gogogo
  8. meh I don't like this much. I don't like the call preflop. I mean sure he 3-bets a lot but does he stack off with air often? I just feel like if you raise call with KQo on this board you are doing exactly what a competent three betting monkey wants you to do. At this point he has only invested $26, while you are going get $100 in very badly when called. Also I think he will call you with underpairs a fair bit given board texture (although I guess you are in decent shape with 10 outs v those hands). Whould he shove on you with AK?I dunno his smallish c-bet just makes this play less attractive.
  9. ty for this and also ty mike. I like this setup as it seems to be a bit of a mix of cascaded and tiled. I will try to figure something out along these lines. I will be interested to see what happens re your win rate. Why could you not just play 11 tables of 2/4? From what I have seen in the past few months the gap between 1/2 and 2/4 is pretty minimal. However I admittedly do game select far harder at 2/4, whereas at 1/2 I pretty much just sit down at any table and feel it's proftable because of all the lol regs. And there are some regs at 2/4 eg Nananoko who I am certain are way better than m
  10. Quick question for those who play 10+ tables.I have been 4-6 tabling $400NL on Stars for the past few months with good results. However I would like to add more tables, and plan to learn this at 1/2. I have 2 24' Dell monitors. How do you guys set up your tables? I find that when I tile 10+ tables I can't keep up with the action. When I cascade them I can, but I get a little disoriented. Where would I find those software additions that make multitabling easier? Also Rdog I seem to remember you saying that one reason you don't move up to 2/4 is that you wouldn't make any more money as you would o
  11. Can you explain why you think this? I completely disagree. In the games I play ppl very rarely flat two streets with a bare flush draw or complete air. And for checking to be more profitable, villain has to be bluffing with a missed draw / complete air more often than he is calling with a medium pp / weak one pair hand. I can't see how that can be even close to being the case, irrespective of whether villain is an 8/6 or not.
  12. I think it's OK. When villian double barrels that board then checks the river, I think his range is really narrow. I don't think he's double barrelling any PPs other than AA and sets. And I really don't see why he would check a K or a boat on the river because your line looks like a PP / weak one pair hand to me (a5 suited if you call pre with that, suited conectors, etc). And in his mind the board pairing on the river increases the chances that you will call a bet with your PP / weak one pair hand. So unless you have a very aggro image, or he is very trappy / tricky, I can only really see him
