Do you ever ask him for advice on poker and or does he ever point out to you anything he thinks you may be doing wrong or try to giv you tips here n there ?if you feel like answering this i notice you dodging all the others ..net worth over or under 100 mill ?coming up was ivey a "geek" or a player i hear hes awsome at pac man or was does he still like to game when he has timedid he and ram scamswani ever settle there golf dispute ?is he striaght edge or does he like to party like a rock star ..?
Ivey and I think about the game so similarly that we don't really talk poker and strategy anymore. He was never a geek. The Ram thing cannot be discussed as that was part of their agreement. He definitely rolls like a rock star.

I seem to remember Ivey once saying he never has read a book, has never gotten any coaching, etc. (think Patrick said the same thing). Pretty amazing imo. but then again back when you guys came up there really wasn't much poker info. out there. Other than playing a ton in what ways did he (you guys) get better?(anyone think Ivey will read this thread?)
Ivey will NOT read this for sure. Playing a ton and figuring things out is exactly how he got better. He just figures things out as he goes.

Who do you think would win if Durrr played Ivey over the course of a year at NLH? Would your opinion change if it was live or online?Funny golf story involving Ivey?
Ivey. Him and his caddie are the funniest thing ever. He is brutal to him. This story is about him and his old caddie: On 18th hole his caddie says, "It's dead straight." It's a 20 foot putt, no gimme at all. Ivey makes the putt, but at the very end of the putt it appeared to veer left and went into the left side of the cup. Ivey, winning a ton of money on the putt, looks at his caddie and says, "Dead straight huh? Did that putt break or not?""You made the putt Phil," says his caddie."That's not the point!!! Did that putt break or did it not break. Answer the question! You said dead straight! I'm playing 100k a hole over here and you say dead straight.""Phil, you made the putt. It's not an easy putt.""That's right 'I' made the putt no thanks to you! Come on man, get your head in the game." It was the funniest exchange ever. Ivey does it to needle his opponents.

Anyone remember the movie Accepted, when the kid says "Ask me about my weiner" i think of it everytime i see this thread....Can Ivey get it on the thumb at any casino in Vegas? if so, how much?
We call it the finger not the thumb, and yes he can get as much credit as he wants around town.

Ivey, earlier this year made a one million dollar bet that he could go vegetarian for one year.
I did it two years ago for nothing. It wasn't hard.My first meat after that was a double-double from In-N-Out. My stomach was upset for a while!

Yes but 245 really useful ones! Back to Ivey, is there anything you think he definately wouldn't gamble on?
The Queens we use would not excite you.

He's developed more patience in marginal spots and gives up EV in risky spots... like you are supposed to. I think he'll win 2-3 in the next five years depending on whether or not he gets side bets going.
