AND RICHIE HAS MONSTROUS THIGHS   BE CAREFUL HE'LL GOUGE YOUR EYES   SCREAMS RACIAL SLURS AT BLACK GUYS   but out of love.. but out of love, but out of loooooove

Much like with Christianity, someday after I'm dead, when people are forming a religion around me, there will be a big split between those who don't believe in the literal divinity of my lifestyle and

God I love that Incognito song.

Bomani isn't funny and I don't like anything he brings to the show. Radio or TV.

I said he was trying to hard to act black. And I said he was playing a character. I think he's being fake and it isn't working. Black white red or yellow just be funny or knowledgable and he isn't either.

Because I've heard him in other mediums and he doesn't talk the way he does on the show. So either he's faking it here or faking it there. Either way the persona he uses on the radio show is annoying to me and it seems like he's purposefully being the booming voice of negratude because dan frames him that way. When he so often reminds people of how educated and suburban he is and then tells us how he ain't bout dis life and how da streets feel him and all that shit. I just find that Schtick boring and fake when he uses it. Could be I'm a racist, could be I just don't like this guy. I don't know. But he is annoying me a lot lately.

Like from yesterday's show mike Ryan talks about a twitter that was tweeting pictures of "booty" and bomani does an immediate you white folk talkin white booty or real booty cause I know real booty and bla blah blah. It's just getting old.

I'm really lashing out at him for that jay bilas interview. It was just such a douchey thing to do. He's been generally annoying me but that broke the back of the straw camel. I hated him every second of that doucheyness.

In the middle. The interview itself was doucheville, but he made it so much worse by telling the audience before Bilas came on that he was gonna do if. Totally douche troll 101.

Bilas is fairly opinionated himself.

I do laugh at black guys and what they think is a great ass. But all da blacks do dat. I take no real issue with it

With no new episode today I decided to listen to the most recent hochman/zaslow and wow these first ten minutes are atrociously bad. No better than the local radio here in kc. Without Dan I don't see how hoch is any good. I'm gonna keep listening but I'm not impressed so far.

BDMcGee says its entertaining. I do love me some Hoch. But as I've said before, if it wasn't for Dan, I wouldn't listen to any talk radio at all. I even stopped listening to Simmons podcasts, unless its Klosterman or a celebrity I like.

oh, don't get it twisted. Hoch is SUPER hacky. He's self aware, but HOW self aware, I'm really not sure. I dunno, I enjoy the show but if you typically hate sports radio, I can't imagine you liking the show. If anything, it's a parody of sports radio and of morning zoo shows, which I enjoy. I certainly DON'T listen for Hoch's sports knowledge, which is zero.

I listened to the Bilas interview and Essay is even more wrong than I anticipated. Bilas was super defensive right from the start. I wish they had actually talked about what the high transfer rate means rather than getting stuck on Bomani naming the transfers, especially since his ability to name them is beside the point anyway.

Every major college basketball program has a high transfer rate. Ku has at least one guy a year transfer and it means nothing.

I'm not surprised you heard it that way because you like bomani. I don't so I heard it the other way. But even bomani said later in the show he had to eat some crow over that interview. It was just poor form all around because the whole thing was done to antagonize and that is stupid and unprofessional.

That would be a good point to make instead of just yelling, "name them!" over and over again. I'd also like to know if UCLA has a higher rate than others.

And that's not the only reason for Howland being fired, but we couldn't get to any of the other stuff.

I just think that if you didn't like the interview, at least half of that is on Bilas.

I think the bilastrator reacted the way he did because it was obvious bomani was trying to antagonize. And I don't see it as an unfair question. Name the transfers? Who were they? Starters? Good guys or malcontents? Because there is a difference between guy at the end of the bench and a troublemaker transferring versus starter and good guy. At ucla they had some bad apples and he ran them off. That was Bilas' josh smith point. Dude showed up fat as hell, but duke wanted him and so did Ku. So Ben howland won and lost there and that proves he needs to be fired? Shit half of ucla's starters this year were transfers from North Carolina. That shit happens all the time.

UCLA has had something like 15 transfers since 2007. That's a big number, regardless.

Bomani's point wasn't to antagonize, it was to debate a point he heard Bilas make, which he found to be hypocritical. Bilas has biases towards people and coaches he likes, just as anyone would. Bomani thought Howland was one of em and wanted to discuss it out. I don't think he went in looking to argue, that being said, Bilas loves him some Bilas, he doesn't back down and Bomani probably knew that going in. That's all I think it was , General Lee
