  1. I am assuming you are playing online? I play in 3 different live games of HOSE 10-20, 15-30 and 30-60 there is a huge difference in the 30-60 game then the 2 lower ones. it seams that the lower games get a lot more action then the upper one. it's not unussual to have 6 players going to the river. (we play 9 handed)
  2. You have a point, but he usually still plays the bigger events.
  3. Crap.....last time I played it I shot a 120, but the guy I was out in Vegas with shot a 73 the first round and a 71 the 2nd round from the tips. If I played it today I would be happy with a 95-96 from the mens tees.
  4. I've played that course like 5 times.......but it's been a few years. The #1 thing I remember about it...........every green breaks to the Stratosphere. when in doubt, look for the Stratosphere and play that break.FYI, I was REALLy bummed I misssed the free roll for a chance to play with you. I hope you run another contest or I might just have to come out on my own and look you up.
  5. um....again....there is a FREEROLL online where you don't even have to put real money in...........I can't beacuse I have a 8 month old and a motgage to pay for.
  6. I read both and like each other for different reasons.CP for the stategy and articles. BLUFF for the lifestyle type articles. Bluff isn't ment to be a strategy magazine, it's ment to be fun. it would be like comparing Sprts Ilistraded to Sporting News, same type of magazine, different way of going about it.I do think Bluff gives back a lot more to the readers though, but that's just my opion.
  7. I want to first say....I've been a lurker on this site for awhile, but I often see guys bragging about how good they are and how they could beat anyone here on the forum. I wanted to give the braggers a chance to prove it and a chance to win a really cool prize.www.bluffpokertour.com is going to be the next HUGE thing. It's a 6 month long ONLINE poker tour that changes sites every week and the player with the most points at the end of the season.........wins 3 WPT buy-in's! YES 3 buy in's and the entry every week is only $33.On Sept 11th.......the winner of that tournaemnt is also getting a WP
  8. Best I have ever did was turning $380 into $2,660 in 3 hours at a casino in IN. It was a 5-5 NL game, max buy in was $500 min was $200. Just hit a GREAT streak. On 2 seperate occasions, I turned $500 into $1,100 - $1,200 with in the first hour. My down fall was not walking away from the table after doubling up. Ended up losing the whole thing both times.......ARG!
  9. If your in the Chicagoland area, you can always play at either the Wednesday tourney at Holleywood casinio ($150 buy in) in Aurora or drive down to Harrah's in East Chicago ($220 buy in) . Trump also holds 3 tourneys a week, Mon & Weds, are $100 buy in's w/re-buy's and Thursday is the $100 WPT Qualifer for the Belligio.
  10. HARRAH'S East Chicago, if you are in a tournament and you motion your winning hand towards the Comunity cards with only one card showing, you have a DEAD hand. You must show both cards to win the pot in Tournament. and NOT motion them towards the comunity cards. In the CASH games you only need to show one to wint the pot, unless the other player asked to see the other. It is considered bad Etiquette to ask a loosing player what he mucked.
  11. I agree with the first answer, Pokerstars has by far the better players. Even the Playmoney tables are closer to real play then any where else i've played. I also like FullTilt, but some people don't like the setup.
  12. I really like FullTilt and ya it's a little cartooney, but i like it. I also play Pokerstars.
