What is your range for calling a stupid push by a short stacker pre-flop? I had seen this guy push A-4 off, 2-2, Q-Js, and 10-7 off before. He is your classic buy in for short-only-pushing-trying-to-double-up-hit-and-run-piece-of-sh*t.Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (6 handed) Full-Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver Cards)SB ($24.10)BB ($30.85)UTG ($6.50)MP ($25.35)CO ($29.20)Hero ($25.50)Preflop: Hero is Button with Posted Image, Posted Image. UTG raises to $6.5 (All-In), 2 folds, Hero...Also, if we are going for it here, should we be raising to isolate or just calling? Thanks.

You figure him for a draw, so I like that you made that bitch pay on the turn.

An e-mail from my dad, who is a weekend online super low limit, only for fun player:
"Hey Bud,
What is a "donk"?
I was small blind, had 2 and 3 off suit, with a 100 raise. I called.
Flop was 5, 2, 2. They raised, so I came over the top. We ended up all in and I won.
He asked my how I could call a $100 with a 2 & a 3. My reply was "just hit the call key". I think I ticked them off.
What do you think? That is when he called me a "donk".
Love you
Dad"

On the button I'm calling with 8s+ vs a short stacker push @ 25NL. I don't raise all-in because I'm not thrilled about getting 9s in preflop for full stacks when anyone who would raise a flat call beats 9s. I do the same with Aces.

Meh. What's the math on this one? His range seems to be infinite but is the payoff worth the likely coin flip?

If you think villain is shoving a range you're more likely to beat than lose to, then you call because it's +EV. AA and KK are also less likely to open shove from utg. These villains are usually awful and shoving any pair, AJ+, KQ, and on a sliding scale of how bad he is, lots of weird garbage hands. Based on what I've seen these guys show up with @ 25NL I think 8s+ and AQs, AK+ are calls.Today I've seen these guys show up with Kings, 2s, Q10off, and Q3suited.

Yeah, I know. Just making sure everyone calls here. He woke up with jacks this time... no being results based, I just wanted to make sure that every calls here. Depending on villain and what I've seen him do before, I am calling 88+, A-Q+I was just checking that everyone else felt that way.
