I used to hear this in connection with the winner of a pot. After showdown, "Ship it!" meant "Send the chips to me!"It seems like I'm starting to hear this as being analogous to "Shove", "Push", etc. (i.e. "All-in"), and I don't think that used to be the case.Just curious if this is a new usage, or if I was always off...

im still not sold that many of these people that get these big online scores are winners when it comes to the live game, which, by the way, is real poker.

Either use is fine. Call it whatever you want, but make sure that you use the term Lagger mig for folding.

Oh boy... I'm going to need an example. It's fun to think that we're developing our own language. I mean, if I were to say, "I raised with my rockets pre-flop under-the-gun and some donk shipped with big slick and got felted," the average person would not :club: have a clue what I was talking about.

Doing some Googling... In poker circles, apparently "Ship" gets used for everything. Ship a tourney (Win a tourney). Ship me $10 (Transfer $10 to my account). In a general sense, it also seems like it's getting used like "Wrap it up".I can see this phrase quickly entering general English language use. Well, perhaps it already has. If not, I'm gonna start. "How'd the baseball game go?" "We shipped it, bro!""I just put the finishing touches on my term paper. Time to ship it!""Did you break up with your girlfriend yet?" "Oh yeah. I shipped that." (or simply) "Shipped!"

Ship, or Ship it, refers to the idea of the movement of money or chips... ship the tournament means I won the tournament, now where's my money ho?Ship the pot means, I won the pot, now where my chips bitch?Ship it in, means go all in, move all your chip into the pot and make your oppnent appear if he/she is your ho...Ship me 10 dollars means, send or transfer me money or I'll donkey punch your blumpkin ass...

I was playing 10/20 Limit holdem a couple of years back at a riverboat in NW Indiana and our table came to the agreement that "ship it" sounds ancient and slow. So we decided on "FedEx it!". This lasted for about 5mins.
